Everyone has a different idea about what they want from a partner, and age preference is no different. Maybe you should see if there is a TNG group in your area.

Age has nothing to do with it. What does matter is the person behind the age...their nature, their personality, THEIR ATTITUDE...

You can be the youngest, or the oldest...none of it means shit if you have an attitude that sucks

Seriously, though: Keep trying and you'll find someone. It seems to me that, when a girl (or anyone, for that matter) wants someone older, it's not the number they're after. It's all the things that go with the number. Maturity, patience, common sense, patience, depth of experience, and, of course...patience. Not that there aren't plenty of older guys who act like adolescents. There surely are. Still, there is a perception among many that older guys tend to be better sorted. There are, of course, exceptions to every rule and stereotype. Be an exception.

Age brings many benefits. Sub females like the idea of a guardian, a protector, someone older/stronger/better so they can feel secure, weak, vulnerable.

And it is an unfortunate truth that most men have no clue how to handle relationships until they get into their 30s.

Just be yourself, plenty of young girls want men their own age.

i personally have found that at least for me, i can seem to relate to them better. The older generations have so much that they can offer us. But then i have always been attacked to older men.

I don't know if you can handle the truth; but here goes.

When I was your age, I was in Vietnam.

What do you have to offer? I looked at your profile and you really do not lay out what you are of what your training or experience would offer a submissive.

I have had submissives ranging in age from 16 to 60. Age is not important. What they bring to the table in terms of attitude and intelligence is.

It seems you are hung up on age; so here is a few things for you to ponder. My wife is two years younger than my daughter. Two of my subs are younger than my granddaughter; one is older than me. If I stopped to consider age, I would miss out on a lot of wonderful people who have made my life richer.

IMHO, you should start as a bottom to an experienced dominant. It will give you a whole new perspective. Of course I am showing my personal prejudice because that is how I started.

Maturity, wisdom, responsibilty, stability--I'd remove the reference in your profile to "beer belly"--its arrogant and will do nothing but turn subs off--btw, most Doms suprisingly are in marvelous shape---and as Master Jerry suggested, if I were you, I'd get some experience and wisdom---and drop the age reference as it sounds more like a "player" not an LTR Dom--imho

Maybe they aren't really rejecting young doms like you.

Okay that was a little harsh, but that careless generalizing can get you into trouble. If you're comfortable with sweeping statements like: "all of them want a dom who is practically old enough to be their father or grandfather," why shouldn't some of "them" be comfortable with: "none of those young doms can even find it and when you show it to them they start to stutter and back up"

We both know that neither complaint actually applies in every single case.

Forget about "them" and what "they" are looking for. Focus your mind on her and what she is looking for. Then she is less likely to see you as one of "them" and ... get it?

Next step, don't focus so damn much on what she's looking for. What do you (as opposed to "young doms") want? Go get it. You Tarzan.

Here's a tip: lots of your younger subbies get totally wet and helpless in the presence of a guy--even a young guy such as yourself--who can handle rejection without whining in public.

How do I know?

I haven't met too many women who wanted older men for their master, but most of the ones I've met have wanted someone skilled, secure, understanding and in control. That often ends up being someone older.

I looked at your profile and you really come across right at the start as being insecure about your age. This sets you up for failure right then. Then, further down, your only two interests are "submissive women" and "online romance." The latter, since it is listed alone, might well be a turn-off to women who want a face to face relationship. Finally, you might want to edit the profile for capitalization and punctuation. There may really be no correlation between care in writing and care in handling a helpless person, but some submissives have that perception.

Well, as one of those that loves my much older partner (there is a little over 13 years between us). I have to agree with those that say that it has to do with maturity, patience and attitude.

This might be lousy advice but when I was your age I had some luck meeting vanilla girls and training them to enjoy BDSM. This does take time and seems to work best with girls who don't have much sexual experience.

I'm with Lucky on this one. Not pointing fingers at all cause I'm far from perfect myself, but most I've seen are less then fit, yet searching for that height and weight proportionate, young Slave of their dreams. Just out of curiosity, do you remember being in Jr High? Do you remember how most of the girls dated guys in high school. Then when you made it to HS, you noticed girls dating either Upper Classmen or College Students. Why was that?

Just quit the bitching and start being more confident. It's easy to say it's due to maturity and bla bla bla but the truth is that Women know that they on average live longer than men. Being with an older man secures the odds of living longer and getting the inheritence even sooner. After that, they have the money and time they want/need to make themselves feel younger by being with younger men.

My advice to you is to start being more confident around older female subs. After all, you're a dom, don't tell me that someone closer to your Aunts or Moms age is going to intimidate you.

Hmmmm.... three out of four of my last serious relationships have been with submissves 6 to 12 years my junior, one was with a submissive 8 years my senior. I don't know, maybe the youngsters wanted a Dom who was an old, fat, balding, ugly, pierced, tattoed, evil, sadistic, hung like a stud-field mouse, bastard? Maybe the older one wanted a boytoy?

Hanged if I know.

I just know that they were good, fulfilling, satisfying relationships that were positive periods in my life. And I would hope that they were positive experineces for the submissives since I'm still involved with one and am still friends with the other 3. I don't think "age" was a factor so much as it was having common interests and compatible kinks, similar tastes in movies and music, getting along with families and existing friends...

In otherwords, we got along well outside the bedroom and/or dungeon. *shrugs* I'm me. They are either attracted to me or not...

*grins* And I'm sure LA will back me up when I say I am NOT a buff, cut, stud muffin with 6-pack abs. I'm definitely a "bear" built for comfort, not speed!
