I'm an older guy 50 and a newbie at all this online stuff. I'm also a newbie at seeking out BDSM for real. The very first contact I made here on CM was with a young lady 26 years old. Yes I'm double her age and frankly it bothers me more then it bothers her. Yes I have more life expeirence then her,but when it comes to BDSM r/t play she is way ahead of me. Now the number (1) reason I made a connection with this young lady was because she has a desire for rope bondage. (2) She lives in the same province. (3) The demands of our work makes travel of any great distance very difficult ; more so for me since I'm a mixed farmer who has to look after cattle.
What I'm getting at is that sometimes an old guy and a young lady may end up together simplely because they have compatable desires, they live close to one another and they live in a place where there are very few other choices.
At the moment this young lady and I are no more then potenial friends having only exchanged a few messages with each other. Would I play with this lady? Sure,if she wants to.Would I like to have along term relationship with this lady? No.
Now someone asked on here, "Why an old Dom would want to seek out a young sub?" Well I don't know? I think everyone has diffrent motivations. Myself I would likely seek a young sub because: 1) I still enjoy looking at a beautiful young women. 2) I have always wanted try doing glamorus erotic photography. 3) I would like to put a women into some very stringent bondage, the kind that an older women just wouldn't be able to endour. Libby is quite a lady. Almost 13 years ago she wrote me on the old Prodigy system and we've been together ever since. We complement well. I'm mainly a teacher and writer and she's an organizer and activists. She's on the board of the Leather Leadership Conference that will be having its annual convention in NYC in a few months.

this thread is ancient so i'll just offer my general advice to the age impaired. I wouldn’t sweat the age stuff too much. You'll get rejected for apostrophes in the wrong place or using the word dude in a joke. Be grateful you don't have a half dozen inquiries a month from people who aren't interested in doing anything but serial fantasizing and pretending they are something they aren’t. Life is too short to waste on people who arent serious. The people who are rejecting you for your age or ignoring you because your profile isn’t to their tastes are looking for something you probably don’t want.

You can still find submissives in your local bar. I've been convinced that online isn’t a horrible random way to meet partners, but I've also found that it's not much better then just looking for girls in your area and introducing them to your dark side. In fact, it can be a lot more fun then describing yourself to anonymous strangers.

A girl knows a man is dominant over her when she looks in his eyes. Maybe its time to go do some eye contact?

At 60? Probably not. I'll simply retire from thos plane of existance when I'm good and ready and not one second before. However I may also decide to piss people off and wait till the end of this millennium. There is always a chance that I may be found flat on my face with a 9mm bullet in the back of my head too, sort of depends if those who escaped when I hunted them are still pissed off with me. In any case life is still interesting, especially when you accept the fact that the chances are very remote that I'll fill another collar, not due to my age but due to the stringent requirements I have for a potential kajira.
