I'd agree it's odd. Curious if your relationship is within the lifestyle or only vanilla? Either way he just needs a little confidence.

beth is tall - 5'9". she has a quite few pairs of high heels, mostly platform high heels, in her inventory. I think her highest pair may be 8 inches with a 2 inch platform. she says with the platform fronts it's less stressful on her feet. One of our favorite is a pair of leather thigh highs with 6 inch heels that I sure make her taller then me. I really never consider it an issue. I love the way she looks in high heels. But the thought of submission never comes to mind because she's now taller.

Interesting question though, I wonder if her height is why she gets so many offers from male subs, begging to be her slave?

Status: offline 		I think that it may be because the relationship it still kind of new and we are still getting used to each other and the way that we are.
I do get a lot of emails from submissive and slave men, even though I lie a little about my height in my profile to make myself seem shorter. I always figured they were just getting deperate.

Careful, lying is never a good idea! I know a few inches in height is just a "little white lie". What happens if you meet someone from your profile? To my knowledge there are no "short pills". If the person contacting you was 75 pounds heavier then they represent in the profile would you open yourself to trust him? Should the first 15 minutes of your meeting be explaining why you don't look like the person represented on your profile.

We all know that because people are people weight, height, age, and looks in general factor in to making contact. We can deny it all we want, but it's a fact. But in a lifestyle relationship where TRUST is the foundation for everything that comes after meeting, there are no "white lies". We should all be confident enough to represent ourselves as honestly as we can.

Status: offline 		Just an inch, I also used to say that I was lighter then I am because people don't know that muscle weighs more then fat. I could tell them that I weigh 165 pounds (which I do) but then they assume that I am bigger then I am. I am smaller then the girl down the hall that weighs 140 pounds, but people place mjore value on weight then on actual size. But because I am not really looking I took that out of my profile.

You don't switch tho' do you Merc?
Some men have very definite triggers and it would seem high heels is one for this guy, I'm tall and high heels can bring me to over 6 foot and it definitely brings some subs to their knees and thats without me even speaking so it isnt me, its the trigger of a certain visual.
I think some of it is down to the way a person tends to carry themselves straighter in heels and some is just down to good old foot/shoe/boot fetish.

Status: offline 		As for height, i am about 5 feet. Depnds on who you ask. 5 1/4, 53/4 of an inch. Master is 6'3 so we have a bit of a hieght difference = ) i'm told i am little, but rarely do i feel it. i LOVE my high heels. 6in heels with a 2 in platform. Master is looking into getting 5 1/2 in heel that padlock on. Putting the heels on seems to just make me FEEL sexier. Plus alot of my nicer clothing i bought in miami where they DONT make things for short people. Saves me hemming = )

Funny, with guys around my size i have always felt like i would break them. Either that or i'd over power them. i think height does have a certian "dominance" to it. But of course, it is all in the mind.

Status: offline 		Sounds like you are taking good precautions to avoid doing your legs a disservice over time. I know a couple of women who used to work with my Mom who have problems to this day wearing flats, since the job required the women to wear heels all the time when they were floor supervisors (times definately have changed!)

Nope. Many, many, years ago in NYC I tried it a couple of times (mostly as a result of losing a bet), but couldn't stop giggling as a bottom. I guess I'm just hard wired as a Dom.

Next time she's wearing them, I'll have to measure beth. I'm sure she's also well over 6' in many of her shoes. There is no doubt that you can't miss her when she walks into a room. Between the red hair and the height, it's hard for her to maintain a low profile. I think at last count she had at least 30 pairs of heels. Any shoe/boot fetishist could live in her closet.

Sorry if my post made you feel bad. I share your same problem with weight. After years of working out with weights no one believes I weigh 212 when they see me, but hey, nice surprises about appearance are good for a change. According to the damn US weight guide I should be 178. One time when I went to a trainer he said if I ever weighed that amount, I'd look awful.

Anyway, truth is always best. I Apologize if my response to your off-handed comment wasn't appropriate. I think a good celebration to your May 13th last class would be to join the group coming to Vegas!

I've dated a few women who were taller than me, and other than discovering once that I'd need something to stand on to clip her to the cross (she was6'1", and out reached me by a good foot or so), it was never really an issue, as long as they didn't start slumping, and I would occasionally have to insist on heels, merely because flats didn't work withthe outfit.

You are a lovely girl, and, I have no doubt, well worth the reach. the worlds full of people that will get down on you for one thing or another- don't make their job esier by buying into it.

The comment about me being a last resort is because I used to be listed as a submissive and am not listed as a switch. I guess I figured they would be more interested in Dommes then someone else.

I know a lot of people go for high heels on women subs, but for me it's being barefoot with the Domme in heels or just any shoes that reinforces who the boss is right there. So, then for some it's the exact opposite. Even when fully clothed the Miss always kept me brefoot, and it started always really working for me, heh. I guess the high heels can be some really good torture, but you can torment someone's feet in other ways if you're just a bit creative. :)
