Status: offline 		Reading the replies of everyone here, makes me feel kinda sad. As a young girl i took/danced ballet, on point towards the end, and i used to wear heels every day at work, and in the evenings when going out. Age and arthritis, however, have caught up with me, and i'm now restricted to flats most of the time. :( <sigh> it's amazing how many have a high heel fetish, and how i wish i could join in with that, but my docs have other ideas. i almost said something to one of em about having a high heel fetish, but chickened out .. lol.

Status: offline 		I have admired high hee;s and shoes with heels on and off but I can't wear them. I have had weak ankles ever since I was a baby. I can fall just by normal walking. On our vacation I was walking slowly over firm even ground and all of a sudden my ankle rolled out from under me making me trip. I have to have flats sandles with good ottoms or tenis shoes.

It makes it hard to find cute but functional sandals as most of them have very very filmsy soles, which offer no support or comfort.

I don't know if you like them, but I have found that Birkenstocks are very comfy. I happen to think that they're stylish, but I realize that not everyone shares that opinion.

Status: offline 		I LOVE wearing heels, but being 6 feet tall barefoot cuts into my heel wearing. I tower over everyone(except my younger brother, who is 6' 9" and still growing!). It is sometimes not very good to be head and shoulders taller then everyone around.

Status: offline 		Hmm profile says switch...I'd say learn to mold that "intimidating" energy into an intriguing energy. I'm only 5'4" and some people still don't talk to me because of my "intimidating" presence. But there are ways to become aware of your energy and manipulate it so that you can become attractive to the people you want to become attractive to, while looking as gorgeous as you can.

I know for me, the scene could use more hot long legged very tall women in heels like you!

Status: offline 		They usually work well in scenes, until I want to be dominated. The guy that I am seeing is over 6 feet tall, and I am still much taller then him in heels. As soon as I stand up he submits, it's kind of odd actually.......

Status: offline 		Well, not to be stereotypical, but men are more visually attuned. There is a physical presence issue and bdsm can be a very tactile thing.

By all means, if not having heels on is an easy way to be able to submit and for your partner to dominate, have at it. I just hate seeing someone miss out on a fun buzz because of others issues. Specially if it makes them look hotter for more eye candy for me!

You can also turn him onto the idea of dominating someone who DOES appear stronger and larger and all that. That might take time, I don't know how long he's been in the scene or how secure in his dominance he is (plenty of doms have been around for years and have very little security in their own dominance, hence all the posturing some do).

Status: offline 		It's more that we are both switches (which generally works out extremely well). He does dominate very well, but he still has that submissive side that comes out as soon as I stand up in heels (it's ok if I am sitting or something)

Status: offline 		hi A/all thank you for the post and places to find good shoes, My Master also likes heel and I enjoy wearing them for him. If any one knows of exersizes to strech the calf muscels please feel free to share. I find that my calfs tend to cramp after hours of 5 inch heels.

Status: offline 		The best thing that I have found is to take the shoes off for a while, stand on the edge of a stair with your heels off the stair and gently press down. The most important part here is to take the shoes off for a while (or at least sit down and imitate the above stretch while sitting)
