Status: offline 		I think that my post on men in kilts was misunderstood. I think that there is nothing more manly then a man that can wear a kilt. And some of the guys here make it look so good (there are almost 100 men in the band). I know that was waaaaay back there in the thread, but I just felt I needed to clarify.

I think most of us got the picture.
There is nothing femine about a kilt in my opinion, having a scottish backround, I'd probably take offense to anyone that said it wasn't manly.

I have a kilt too, but it just isn't the same......



And speaking of bagpipes, I live next door to the music center, I get to hear the pipers practice every afternoon. Everyone should have that luxery.

My neighbor, about three houses awy, is a flautist (flutist? person that plays the flute lol) and when the weather is warm and windows are open, I can hear her playing two or three nights a week. it's pretty cool.

Status: offline 		After the British defeated the Scots at the battle of Culloden in 1745, they were so afraid of bagpipes, kilts and "The Plaid", that all three were banned as "tools of war". What we have come to know as the "Clan Colors" came after 1820, when they became quite a fashion statement among British aristocracy (kinda like much of the "Native American" jewelry we might encounter now.)

The "bottom line" is that Scots wear kilts 'cause they don't fit in trousers. Ask any Scot, he'll tell you!

Both forms are correct, but it seems to me that your nighbor is a "flutist" until a strong wind blows up his kilt, when he becomes a "flautist".

Um, please keep in mind that she said "generally" ... and from our experience, it is true that, in general, males who are sissies or crossdressers or into forced fem mostly want to play dress up and/or be taken care of rather than serving. This does not mean that all males are like that, but most are - if you aren't, then that's fabulous ... but don't take offence when someone says "generally" or "in general" because that doesn't mean that everyone fits that definition, and that means that - if it doesn't fit you, then it wasn't actually referring to you.

This has been a very nice thread with the dommes discussing something they personally enjoy. And I think they have been polite in saying that there is nothing wrong with femmed men - but that it is not their kink.
