Status: offline 		Sometimes i see a profile and it's very appealing; then i get to the part where He discusses what He wants; and so often He wants a bisexual or "bicurious" woman; and i feel sad.

Are straight women just not exciting? Is monogamy just never enough? i have a clear vision of a life or peace and joy with my One; but apparently few men are interested in that vision.

Don't misunderstand; i get mail; but often when i actually IM with Him -- He asks "would you?' and the answer is "no f**king way"; and we come to an end. *Sigh*.

Am i suffering alone?

Status: offline 		I have been there and done that, meaning i have indeed had a threesome. it was fun, i would not mind doing it again. if i do not have it happen again, it is no big deal. personally, i find straight women attractive, there are many different ways of getting excited, having exciting things happen without having to bring a third or even a fourth involved. so i can understand where you are coming from candy, i can see both sides of it. all i can say is i know where you are coming from.

Status: offline 		It's a common thing for a guy to want two or more women at once. That doesn't necessarily mean that they'll act on it, though. There are more men than most people think (even on this site) that are looking for a slave or submissive that they can be one-on-one with. I've talked to quite a few Doms that want a monogamous BDSM relationship. Sometimes it gets depressing looking for them, but don't let it get you down. It's only a matter of time. (I'm a hardcore optimist of the "there's someone for everyone if it's meant to be" tradition).


I'm bi, by the way, and conversely I have a fun solution that I used to use to deter guys from asking to "watch."
Guy: So... can I watch?
Me: Sure!
Guy: <sputter and gasp> R..r..really?
Me: Of course. There are a couple of ground rules though.
Guy: Ok.
Me: I get to watch you first. With a guy.
Guy: Eeewww! That's nasty. I don't dig guys.
Me: Well, let me know if you change your mind...

Or if they want to join in...
Guy: Oooh, oooh I wanna ride!
Me: Ok. Get your boyfriend.
Guy: What?
Me: Get...your...boyfriend. It takes four to ride this ride.
Guy: <running away quickly, usually screaming>

They've only said OK to the above a couple of times. It was worth it.

Men should realise how discouraging it is to read "must be bisexual or bicurious" in a profile....it makes me feel a gap that cannot be bridged. So if it's NOT a requirement, perhaps You might edit that out.

Status: offline 		Early on, Doms tend to get caught up in the "more than one" syndrome. It is heady, believe me, having more than one sub/slave. It's a phase almost all Doms go through (went through it myself). Plus, them of them genuinely are poly. My advice: look for an older Dom who has already gone THOUGH that phase.

Every time we limit what we want or raise bar in what we expect from a compatiable partner we are going to shrink the pool of acceptable matches... part of the price of that is its going to take greater effort and patience to find that compatiable partner.

Yes it sometimes those.. a poly-switch(Top or bottoms) that are bi-sexual have alot of options. But hey that just means the have a bigger application pile to sort thru before then find the right matches to me there varied interest and then they have to maintain them all... mmmm sounds like they have more work in the end *G*

I think the Doms that have bisexuality listed as a requirement tend to seek poly relationships. This, of course, isn't always true, but I've noticed a trend that way. It's just preference, really. They want more, but you don't. It's just a difference of desire. There really are a lot of good men out there that are actively looking for monogamy.

Status: offline 		Given that the people who are into BDSM are interested/engaged in relatinships and forms of play/sex that fall outside conventional boundaries I don't find it surprising at all that some would want partners who are open to broader sexual experiences. For many people this is about exploring and expanding boundaries and they seek partners who are willing to explore in the same areas they are.

Status: offline 		What rule? Who's rule? I know a lot of women who find guy on guy action hot. Perhaps there's a whole bunch of us who didn't get this memo?

It's funny because a fair percentage of the emails I get are from Doms looking for someone to be theirs and theirs alone. Sorry, but I'm already married so that's not an option, but if he's open to poly we might be able to work things out.

I don't think they need to realize how discouraging this is - their job is not to be less discouraging for you. I give them credit for being honest in their profiles. If they didn't list this and then brought it up after you'd invested time and energy on them you'd be posting about how awful and dishonest these men are. I think you just need to accept that this is something a significant portion of the men who contact you and/or you come across are interested in and that it's incompatible with what you want.
