Private Message Either the feature is disabled, or you do not have sufficient permission. How the hell do i get permission?

on the home page, my log in does not work, i have to go to message boards, then click on log in at the top, then and only sometimes then can i get to my messages.

Sometimes it just tells me my password is invalid and i know it is not, as ive cut and pasted to eleminate human error on my part. what am i doing wrong?

id seriously appreciate some guidance and suggestions here

id like to contact a moderator for assistance in the above matter. How the heck can i get into my messages that currently says i do not have permission or its disabled?
Please respond as i cant see how to contact moderators, other than break the rules and get noticed.
