Ignore mistakes? Turn the other cheek? Say "move on?"
I'm just asking?
My view is this.
Everyone gets one chance and one chance only....that will include,,,tight bondage, a severe ass whipping...and total humiliation. That's the one chance...and that's it!
Am I too harsh?
No second chances....ever...ever!
I'm in a New York state of mind........but, I do love my Pet..........Katy!

No, never ignore a mistake. Use approiate measures to correct it.

We are all human...we all make mistakes...no getting around that...the important thing is that we LEARN from them, and apply what we have learned so that we do not make the same mistake twice.

weren't you just asking about a "friend" who was a dom who had made a mistake? hmmm. curious, that. should trust be trusted, or does one always go with a back up line up? some things just seem to repeat themselves in life, whether in the glory of changing leaves, a beautiful sunset, or in a new york minute.

We all make mistakes. Huge ones. Enormous ones. Dom's make 'em too.

Sometimes we need to practice knowing the rules. Knowing your rules.

I vote "Yes" on Bill Second Chances.

I've seen you post enough on this board to know you are far from perfect as the rest of us.
So, would you want your slave to give you a second chance after you messed up?

Or discard you? You should treat your slave the same way you'd like to be treated, after all that is how respect is born.

Status: offline 		i'm in the second chances camp since i have a habit of making stupid mistakes... but it also depends on the mistake. If it was something delibrate and sufficiently serious then perhaps a second chance isn't in order.

I think the question was about giving the slave/submissive....a second chance?
A slave who turns it around and blames her Master for her mistakes, is not a worthy slave to begin with, in my view.

Status: offline 		it seems like in this case a second chance would be a good way for the D/s relationship to grow... trust is important, and if you trust each other to try something again, then it can be an enriching experience for both of you if all goes well.
