Naaa, there's plenty of stupid people out there, including subs. Training can help them accentuate the parts that aren't so stupid and work around it.

A quick trip through the forums will disprove that theory in a heartbeat. There are plenty of stupid subs, slaves, masters, mistresses, tops, bottoms and whatevers here. There's nothing exclusive about this website or this "lifestyle" that excludes stupid people from taking part.

Hmmmm.... While those who hold truck with that opinion are perfectly within their right to such, I am a social Darwinist, and disbelieve the assumption as postulated.

In otherwords - Personal observation has led me to believe that there needs to be a LOT more chlorine in the gene pool. Stupid people abound, and their numbers are getting larger every day.

YIK,

Sort of like 'only bad parents have bad children.'

Or 'don't blame the dog, blame the owner.'

To an extent, I agree.

Yes there are...but fortunately for them stupidity is not a crime so they're free to go.

Well I like this idea. I know there are stupid people in any demographic, but I will keep this in mind the next time I run across a stupid sub. Of course, its going to be hard for a stupid sub to find a smart master to train them properly!

Interesting, very interesting! What is your defiition of stupid?

Stupid =
1. Dull ~ heaviness, stolidness, stolidity, dumbness, stupidity, solemnity;

2. Credulous ~ gullibility, infatuation, self-delusion, self-deception, superstition, bigotry, dogmatism;

3. Foolish ~ imbecility, incapacity, poverty of intellect, dullness, asininity, obtuseness, solidity, hebetude, doltishness, muddle-headedness, vacuity, short-sightedness, incompetence.

Perhaps a quick brouse through the foruns, even just the thread headings may raise an eyebrow or two. I'd hazzard a guess that most if not all of us could be classed as stupid at one time/post or another using my definition of stupid. (Roget's Thesaurus)

Stupidity (or the lack thereof) is an inborn trait....I doubt it can be trained out of someone. However, if by a stupid sub you mean one who can't seem to follow simple orders...well that would be trainable.

i would have to dissagree, im constantly flabbergasted by the 'stupidity' of some subs. Its truly incredible sometimes.

that is also true of any sector of society though, not more so in the submissive population.
