Seems like every web forum I've been on has one of those stories. Makes you wonder about folks that have nothing better to do than start fights like that.

I have been on pay sites before, and trust me, it doesn't cut down on the junk mail. I always got messages from people who didn't pay much attention to what I wanted. I would rather have this site just the way it is and simply delete the messages that aren't interesting to me than to have to pay and delete the messages that are not interesting to me. But, I am cheap so what do I know.

I once came accross a set of graphic images for the particular denizens of cyberspace. One was the cyber troll who would log into the chat room, expound some lame theory, and despite the reams and reams of evidence provided by everybody in the chat room would stubbornly cling to it. Which is different from the cyber werewolf who logs in to chat rooms and expounds some lame theory just to start a firefight. Wish I could find the URL. Sinergy

One reason for making this a paid site is, maybe then they can make it load faster. Sometimes I get on here (I have cable) and it takes forever for the site to load. Sometimes it won't even load at all. I'm not complaining because again, it's free... But with some money, maybe they can afford to upgrade it.

You don't have to pay the fee at b.com. We are free members and can post on the boards, etc. To email someone, you just have to use an outside email address now. For example... you can email from your yahoo account to my b.com account by using [email protected] as the address. Anyway...not touting their site, but people seem to have the mistaken impression that you can't contact people unless you are a paid member, and that's not the case. best regards, fate

Um, I'm totally against the idea. Mostly because I'm a broke college student and I wouldn't have been able to make the connections I've made if this were a paysite. No way, no how would I pay. Some of the suggestions you made are good ones. Why don't you post them in the suggestion thread? I think we should be able to donate to CollarMe.com so we can keep it free and the site can make improvements. I'm sure this has been said a million times in this thread, but if you really don't like it here and Alt is so da bomb, leave.
