MistressOmega -> ~ ALL FEMALES-STALKER INFO IN THE 818 AREA CODE~ (3/16/2005 9:13:33 AM)

My name is Mistress Omega- I am starting a page for Ladies in the business for problems with stalkers. I recently had a stalker from 5 years ago - who I had to call the police on- start stalking me again. I received 2 threatening phone calls and a sickening email and the police only suggested to 'contact them if he calls again' so ~ on that note I feel it is to our utmost of importance to start a board to post all dangerous, threatening, unstable clientele that any of us have come across. IF you are located in the Los Angeles area and would like to know who this person is PLEASE contact me at my email that I read daily at: [email protected] and I will give you any further information I have on him so you can keep a watch out for him.

A generic run down ~ he stalks blondes, preferably tall, he is located in the Reseda the (818) area code of California, he is into cigarette torture and interrogation scenes, kicking boxing, punching and boxing. He is tall, skinny, light balding brown hair.

Be safe ~
Mistress Omega

i lived in Van Nuys and had a stalker/rapist years ago.

The police were incredibly unfeeling and stupid about the whole thing. About a year later, some anti-stalking laws were passed. All i can say is DOCUMENT everything in a diary, and keep tapes from your answering machine and tape phone conversations...can you put a phone trap on your line? i did, here in West Virginia, and pressed charges; it cost me only a few dollars per month too, and i found out about it through my local phone company.

**edited, you can not talk about criminal acts here, especially when you are alluding to murder**

i'd carry a mini-tape recorder in a pocket just in case. It's not admissible in court to tape somebody without their knowledge but...if you were taping a letter to somebody or something like that, and it was on pause...and it accidentally came off of pause and caught the entire conversation then it IS admissible in court. [;)]

The guy who went after me lived in Los Angeles. This is some scary stuff you're going through...just be careful though...the laws protect the scary people, not US. If he finds out you're handing out his name on a list, you could be sued for libel or something...so please be careful who you warn. Do it from a new account at the library so it can't be traced to your computer, okay? Just an idea...i hope you don't mind my spewing out (unwanted) advice.

Recordings are admissable in court. If a person lies on the stand, a recording can be admitted by the judge if he chooses. Goes to discredit the witness, as well as the courts being able to charge the person testifying with perjury.

You can also be sued for slander when you hand out information about other people. Now if several people come to you and say "this person did this", you can keep a record of the conversations. Then go to the police and say I have all these people that are willing to sign an affidavit against this person so that you can proceed with criminal charges. Your witness' should be respectable and believable. There needs to be some kind of proof of such acts, otherwise it is a he said she said thing. I would be very careful pursuing this, if the witness' are not credible and you make the accusation you can also be sued for defamation of character.

As far as useing a computer away from home. Most libraries and other sources of net access keep records of who used which computer on what day. Most all of these places also have camera security. It can be traced back to a computer and very possibly the person useing the computer at that time.

Something to keep in mind.

some jursdictions do not allow the unconsented to recording of another: ie Massachusetts
and it is a crime to so record
check with your local police before you start tape recording someone without your knowledge

It's currently illegal to record a phone conversation without all parties consent in the following twelve states: California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington.

While I'm not entirely sure, I think here (CA) it's still illegal for anyone that isn't the government.

Guys get stalkers from time to time to. Where can we go for safety in numbers?

Well, you could just let your pet know about it. I have a feeling she's track down the stalker for you and not be nice. [:D]

LOL, this does not increase my feelings of safety any, or make me feel like i can protect myself in any way. The guy didn't do things in front of witnesses, but a phone trap would have helped. It would have been really nice, when the policemen i called came to question us...if i could have had his screaming out, "I raped you once bitch, and I'm coming in to do it again!" and the two hours of beating on my door and obscene threats on tape. The cops sided with him, because he told them that i was his girlfriend and i was angry with him. i heard one officer telling him to leave for 24 hours until i wasn't upset anymore. As soon as the police left, he was back at it again. i called up 911 again (Van Nuys, California), but after an hour they still weren't there yet...i called again, and they'd said that they were having a shift change over, and this was logged in as a domestic problem, and was i still having trouble? i was terrified (the stalker was high on drugs and alcohol, so i don't understand why the police didn't do anything to help me) and held the phone out for her to hear the screaming/pounding better.

There were no other exits. i had all my furniture piled up in front of the door. Then he got in through one of my windows without breaking it and raped me again while i was waiting for the police. When he left, i took a shower and almost scrubbed all my skin off. i removed the furniture...what was the use? The police finally came...a man. He came into my apartment and stood directly in front of me, and then asked me why i would't look him in the eyes! i was asked if i'd ever had sex with the guy who "raped" me, and i said yes, because he's raped me before. (My job used to be at a group home, i'd leave on Friday and come back home on Monday. The first time, he was hiding in the bedroom or bathroom or something, because i didn't see him until i started putting away groceries.)

The officer told me that i shouldn't be living by myself, that i should have kept living with my parents until i got married and left home....and i just couldn't believe it. Also, he asked me was i on any birth control, and i said no, because i don't have a boyfriend. i just couldn't believe the entire conversation! It's incredible that the law takes away my right to protect myself, but won't take over the job of protecting me. Nobody ever suggested phone traps either or told me any way i could protect myself. (i was around 21 or 22, and was separated and waiting for my divorce to be final.)

i had advertised at a local college to get a roommate. He was one of the applicants, and i'd said i'd think about it, but then he somehow found out one of my jobs and was watching me there, and then the phone calls started. It's very scary to have someone call you and tell you where you were and what you did all day when you couldn't see them, and describe every person you spoke with and have them threaten to hurt your friends. To be told that women fight it at first, but once they're pregnant they stop...and he kept calling me to ask if i were pregnant yet. Nothing i said would make him leave me alone, ignoring him and hanging up didn't work either.

Yes, i'm very paranoid now...have PTSD, panic attacks, dissociation and live on SSI. Over 15 years of therapy haven't changed anything so i've quit going...this was so much more than just a "lousy f*". If it weren't for all those suicide prevention hotlines California had, it would have killed me. i will always have personal safety issues.

Sorry about saying anything that required editing. Forgive? i won't do it again. (The gun i plan to get is going to be used for target practice only, lol.) Legal or not, i wan't a cop to believe me next time, so i have tape recorders now...all through the house.

WOW, cynthia, that sounds terrifying, so sorry you had to go through it. Was he ever prosecuted for the rapes or the stalking?
