A woman is fascinated by the elegant calligraphy on the handwritten menu in a Chinese restaurant. She takes the menu home and spends months knitting a sweater with Chinese characters down the front. She wears it out to a cocktail party where a Chinese physician asks her where she got the symbols. "from a menu" she admits. "do you know what they say?" "I'm afraid to ask," she says, "but tell me anyway" "Cheap, but Good"
