The question relates to 'types' of people on the site. In some ways it's useful to think of people as 'types'--but in cauldron of a bdsm relationship it is the the great variety of the individual that is revealed, and which counts.

you may think slaves/(Dom/mes) do this and don't do that, and yet the individual does the unexpected, challenging understanding, hard to figure, but well the effort.

I met a Domme on the profiles pages who was looking for a Vanilla/Bdsm
male for marriage. He would be Her servent and at the same time he would have to be Vanilla around Her Daughter. She was not looking for anything other then that. He would though be Disciplined for wrong or bad behavior. But Rewarded for good behavior. After 2 months, She was looking for a toilet slave, Forced Bisexuality, etc. So I see Your point exactly~

Mistress Kiss,

Actually, stormi agrees with alot of what you are saying.
You are certainly right in saying it's BDSM or vanilla but,
there is one you left out in stormi's opinion..... fantasy.

There are probably more than we know on here that just
deal with the fantasy world when it comes to BDSM whether
it's on collarme or ICQ or IRC or yahoo... the list goes on.

It's those types stormi thinks that does make it discouraging
at times. Of course some of those are also the ones who chose
to consistantly engage in personal attacks or try to make others
believe that THEY are the only ones who know how to live and
practice the lifestyle.

What Master does with stormi is RIGHT for THEM. It does not
mean that it's right for Mistress Kiss and her partner. The thing
to remember is that every Dominate has it's own set of protocals.
Those protocals are set up to satisfy the Dominate and to some
extent the sub/slave, after all..... stormi receives her greatest
pleasure in knowing Master is pleased with her service.

It is easy unfortunately to get wrapped up in all the <bull> that
goes on here or any chat/message area. Especially for a firecracker
at the keyboard as stormi is. But whether certain others want to
call themself Dom or sub or whether certain <know-it-alls> want to
debate if Master wants to refer to stormi as His white silk slave, is
basically nothing more than foolishness for several reasons.

In most Gorean circles if a Master tacks the ~W~ after a slave's name
or calls her ~W~ <whitesilk> when talking to other Master's It means
that His girl is off limits. Hell fire, most slaves are not only mental and
servant slaves, we are pleasure slaves as well. The job of a slave is to
provide what ever service that Master wants, THAT is where a slave
heart blossoms, from KNOWING they have done what it takes to please.

It easy to see where the orginal thread would come across as being
judgemental or harsh. It's also easy to understand why if someone has
experienced more than their fair share of the <bull> that they would vent.

The only suggestion stormi has is to simply put the fools on ignore and move
on. Don't allow them and their ignorance, arrogance, or what ever title you
wish to ad to their name, take you to the level they are at. THEY are NOT WORTH
it. In time <bull> falls apart and sinks to the bottom of the lake.

If one was *truly* "done with this" it wouldn't keep being brought up nor would there be a *need* to type "done with this".

The mere fact the past is continued to be brought up means that it isn't "done" for you, and that you refuse to move on and get beyond the past instances that evidently have really bugged you.

Some advice ...

... don't allow what folks say - especially in an online forum to bug you so much. So what if they attack you? Big deal. Does it affect you in real life, or affect your real life relationships? No. It doesn't. So don't give them this power over you to allow them to affect you so deeply to the point that you recreate it rather than move on.

I'm personally attacked every day - and it doesn't faze me in the least. It's THEIR problem - not mine, so I refuse to allow it to become *my* problem. What other people think or say - especially online - matter basically nothing to me, I concern myself and reserve my energy for those folks that DO matter to me in the real world - unless it's entertaining on some level.

So yanno - let it go, and let it die, and move on to something positive, rather than keep focusing on past negatives.

From my experiences.... I did find my husband on alt.com 5 yrs ago and have made several lifestyle friends online that we have gotten to know in real time<one poly d's family from here>... but on the whole we <hubby and I are a Dominant, Bi , Poly, Happily Married Cpl> have wasted numerous hrs on subs who just don't show up. We have been left sitting at an airport and a bus station on 2 different occasions. Once we even paid for the subs trip to visit us and he did not show up. Recently I was chatting with chasityboy28 on here and we were to pick him up for a visit at the airport and we never heard from him the wk before the scheduled visit. I hear this from alot of Dommes and it is VERY discouraging. We are members of the Dallas Santuary Dungeon and several local d's, poly and bi groups... but most of the groups seem to be paired off already.... so the search goes on for the sub/slave male that will be our 24/7. We do not expect results over night and I am speaking of subs we have spent wks or more chatting with online and on the phone. I am still hopeful that the right person for us is out there and that we will soon find him. Blessings MsDawn
