People in general are rude... not just submissives Sir.

Status: offline 		I think the fact that you can be just a group of words on a screen, gives a lot of people the courage to be rude. on the internet your just a screen name that can be deleated anytime you want. I find that a lot of people you contact on collar me, seem to think I want to be insulted, by their replies. sorry if I'm not perfect or what your looking for. You might not be what I'm seeking either, but you have to start somewhere. and either no reply or a polite one saying no thank you would work for me. Dave

Status: offline 		Wannabees sending out dozens and dozens of letters just clutter up the site and make it difficult for people who do actually share a common interest to find each other. People should use a little common sense in sending out emails.
You cant handle the responses from dozens of people even if they did respond.
you cant realistically expect people halfway across the country to reply to you
you cant expect replies to letters that say nice profile pic, nice profile, or start out with some rude disrespectful comment.
you cant expect replies from people that have huge age differences.
you cant expect replies from submissives seeking mistresses even tho you're so sure you could change their mind
you cant expect replies from mistresses you want to switch for you because they look hot
Instead of spending time writing tons of letters take the time to read profiles, find the selct few that really interst you and with ywhom you share common traits and desires and focus on them. Maybe there are only a few on this site. well thats life! Use the extra time to chat in the rooms where you might find out more about people and make new contacts.

A word of advice - write in these message boards. Don't write angry, frustrated, pissed off postings, it only shows you to be an angry, loud mouthed blowhard. Instead, write on topics that interest you. Show who you are.

A long time ago, I came to personals sites to 'find' someone. I wrote many emails, did lots of searching, and had almost no luck. Then I moved to a foreign country, and started using this site just for interaction. A year later, I don't write very many emails - but I would say on the occasions I do write someone, there's a 75% chance that they will respond. Not because I am the perfect Dom for them, but because using these message boards, you have a chance to really get to know people above and beyond a pretty picture and a few words on a profile.

In the end, showing patience is probably the best first step towards finding the right woman for you. Being a friend is the second. From there on, it's all down hill.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news my friend, but a well written email would consist of well written, to a single individual.

I suspect you are new to this realm and have a tainted ideal of what you believe a submissive or slave to be.

How can you write to anyone having not read first their profile to see if you have anything in common? Did you mention in your mass mailing, the individual aspect of the particular person you were contacting?

You sent a well wriiten resume to those you deemed physically attractive to you correct? Do you honestly believe that anyone (submissive/slave etc) would see anything magical in your well written essay?

This, as with any dating type site, is overwhelmed with men in relation to women , so they of course have hundreds of mails to deal with...sometimes daily.

Would you honestly respond to each if you were in their shoes?

People reply for several reasons, but very very few will take the time to reply to what they can see is a form letter.

We are real people...we are the same people you pass daily in the grocery store, the bank, even in your place of bussiness... Can you imagine sending a resume of what you seek to the above and having any better a reply rate?

Read each profile complete, and only then, if you are attracted to what you have read, send a email... If you took the time to read every word, you would soon see a pattern in these sites. You would soon see the anger and dissapointment in many profiles from the submissives/slaves that have been bombarded with demands, or form letters, from people that obviously did not take the time to read their profiles thoroughly.

I can point you to a hundred that say in Capital letters... READ MY PROFILE BEFORE RESPONDING!

I have other ideas to the lack of response based simply on your message here...but that's another story all together.

Yes... YES... YES!

I caught something I hadn't noticed before. For those who play a bit of poker you may be familiar with a tell. There are also writing and speaking tells... things that show you where a person's thoughts are going or have been.

For instance a man accused of murdering his wife in Florida said that he "loved" his wife even before they found the body. The woman's family wasn't convinced the woman was dead since she'd only been gone a day or so. He'd already lumped her in the dead category - quite possibly because in his mind he knows she's gone.

The OP has a written tell - or a very poorly worded original post.

I see you have accomplished what every master seeks. You have srired up the melting pot!

There is no plain and simple. But I lack time.

Women have more feelings, as I was told when I was a child, Girls, women, ladies (you call it). Have an insight that we as men don't have a need for. Security, women lack it! No matter what they say, no matter how hard they hit you,(behind closed doors). Women are afraid of what some one else will say about them! Pain and simple. Yea yea yea I have heard it all.
It really bothers me when a Woman, So called Domme tells you she is all that! Two months perhaps a year later, "cream whip" Jelly in the palms of your hands! .
What I'm attempting to say is that all Women, yes even you, I see you out there shaking your heads. Sorry MasterDon, have a need for security. Men don't seem to care! I know why just like you! But women need to be .....respected. Subs, Dommes, switches. They have parents that just wouldn't understand why thier daughter is kneeing at a mans feet taking orders like she loves this! Or demanding that a man be thier horsey as she rides him into the bedroom,(behind closed doors). Young women, mature women. All need to be loved, thought after, touched and pampered. and there's nothing wrong with that. But when you tell a man that will please him in every way? Also tell us that after we start doing all that we do for you and start really making you cimfortable and happy and (OMG) secure ! Then they turn to jelly. 1. Forgive me, but this thread has me terribly amused! (granted, it may be pure exhaustion speaking here...but still *tee heee heee hee*)

2. The prime example of the personalized email that caught *my* attention was from the Man who is now my Master real time and it went something like this: "Howdy neighbor! So nice to see a friendly face so close to home. (various personalized comments about my interests and His inserted here) I sincerely hope that you have received at least one email from the masses of this site that has rung true. Don't let the trolls get you down. If I can be of any assistance whatsoever, please do not hesitate to call on me. I would love to get to know you better, even if its just a buddy to call on to go out for coffee."

3. The prime example of an email received (no way to tell if it was personalized or not) that instantly proved i was NOT interested in the individual went exactly like this: "Are you breedable?" Believe it or not, i responded to this email, and my response went something like this: "Although at this point in my walk in life my female organs are still viable for reproduction, i find no interest in becoming the breed mare of a stranger. Good day." i got a response back from this individual that went something like this: "you rude, disrespectful piece of slavemeat (yes, he actually referred to me as "slavemeat"), how dare you respond to Me in such a manner. you should be strung up and whipped till you have no skin left on your back." Needless to say...that individual is now permanently placed on my banned list.

So...yes, sometimes i simply delete a message now without responding to it...however, it is for the exact reason that even if you respond politely in the negative, it doesn't guarentee an equally response back from ego-bruised individuals. *shrugs*

Status: offline 		Wow, was reading through this thread and have to say was a bit disappointed in many responses. Many replys were talking about rudeness and quite frankly in the same breath were exhibiting much of what they said they disliked. The question was pretty simple and straight forward and think an honest one. Unfortunately, is one that happens on both sides. I try hard to answer all emails sent to me minus the ones that have been sent to me for the 3 or 4th time or the ones that are nothing short of ill mannered drival. Manners are lacking today in general. Most people sadly are more familiar with the term FU then they are thank you, you're welcome, and please.
I will agree that it can be difficult to return emails and oft takes hours when they come in droves. I then feel at times guilty that some wait a few days before I can reply since there are many days I just do not have the desire, time or energy to reply for long periods.
I received and I know I am not alone here 100 emails the first 24 hours on this site. Took me 3 days to get back to everyone. So while I agree Master Don that a polite reply, even if thank you but no thank you is most appropriate it may not get done.
All I can say is try not to get discouraged by it and hopefully you will find what you seek whether it is on here or elsewhere.

Please do not lump everyone so quickly. If someone doesn't like the idea of who or what I am and they want to lose sleep over it that is their problem. I'm upfront with anyone who asks, regardless of what the person may say in reply. I was told that I am promoting immoral behavior just the other day at work. The woman's words meant nil and I don't hide who I am to make other people comfortable. You have a funny way of showing that last bit. Perhaps you could explain in more detail. I may not be reading your words correctly. It may be a matter of you having less than ample time on your hands to construct your post. I don't tell people that I am "all that". I own up to my faults and I know my limitations. Doing anything else would be silly at best and perhaps quite dangerous at worst. But I will be neither 'cream whip' nor jelly in anyone's palms in two months or in twenty years. If this was not the message you intended to convey I would enjoy being enlightened.

I've met plenty of men who are careful, projected thinkers who meticulously plan for as many possible outcomes as they can. They may take the occasional risk - but by simply existing we all take risks: getting sick, being hit by a freak bus careening in through our living room window. Status: offline 		Here's a response from one of those RUDE subs... In the first three days I was here, I received over 40 e-mails from people. At first I responded to each and every one of them. (Even the truly creepy ones)
After the fourth day I started to get a little overwhelmed.
A person can only take so many mails that say: (Just pick and match to get your average form letter)
1. Hello/On your knees!/Bow to me/Your search has ended.
2. Little One/Slut/My one/Scum on the sole of my shoe.
3. You will be mine/I have bought your plane ticket.
4. I will rule you with an iron fist in a velvet glove/ I am a sensetive but strict Dom.
5. You will obey me/I will treat you like a queen.

I am a sub... I am NOT your sub! I have the right to make choices, so you know what I did?? I got rid of my profile (no-one reads them anyway) and now I just post on the forum.
I got sick of the bullshit.

Status: offline 		Ya know....after reading all these posts about MasterDon, I'm surprised all of you put so much effort into this dude. If I remember my history, this fella ain't really worth the trouble.

The MasterDons died out during a horribly violent meteor shower millions of years ago that caused, if I recall, a sudden change in temperature that literally wiped out thousands of genus across the face of the map in barely months.

From what I can ascertain from the posts he's gotten in return to his original post, it would appear the temperature has dropped precipitously around his efforts quite similarly, and his "reign" will be over soon, if it's not already.

(Thank goo'ness the meat eaters are around to clean up the mess he left hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha)

Geez, people have gone to the effort of trying to help poor poor MasterDonfromPA and he can't even be bothered to thank them... rude SOB, IMHO.

Actually, I guess I came to this thread kind of late; when I went to look at his profile it says it's not there anymore.

Guess he packed up his toy bag (Lord knows WHAT was in there! <LOL>) and went to another site. Good riddance, as far as I'm concerned!
