I don't usually correct anyone's grammar in posts or messages but I have been enjoying your posts for a long time now and have the greatest respect for you and your thoughts. However it really is bugging me to see you continually use "whom" as a subject. "Who" is the subject and "whom" is the object. Maybe you have a reason for it that i am not familiar with.

What does role have to do with it? I saw someone correcting a *person*. How would it be different if the individual being corrected identified as submissive?

I'm always curious when people suggest that someone deserves special/different/deferential treatment just because of the role they identify with.

Curious.

Lets get sumthing straight here
We are ALL supose to be Adults
on these boards and since We
are such shouldent be wasting
Our times to go around correcting
each other like We are Teachers
or Mothers watching over school
kids. I would not go around correcting
other Dominants Posessions nor expect
anyone to be correcting Mine and I most
definatly would not accept a sub or slave
doing such within My Lifestyle and its position
first off and secondly if sumone I dont know
came up to Me in person and tempted to
correct the way I speak they would earn their
selfs a slap in the face, and even a possible
full blown out kick their ass for such. THAT IS MY OPINION.

As for your question Sherri. "What does role have to do with it?" Actually nothing. Call it my upbringing, teachings, or training, correcting anyone in a public forum is rude and inappropriate. i do believe it was called manners. Ah but i could be wrong.

It never ceases to amaze me how such a simple statement can get so misconstrued and blown out of context "here".

BTW, correct me if I’m wrong, proudsub, but “to supplicate” is a transitive verb. If i supplicate i need to supplicate to someone. It seems to me that other than M’Lady no one has the right to call me that.

Back on subject. Do you own proudsub by any chance? If you cannot see her as a human being, do you think you could be nicer with other people’s property?

(Just a side note: proudsub you are and always will be a human being. I’m just stating your case in terms of property incase that is the argument that “clicks”.)

That's pretty much my perspective too, which is why I always wonder when someone singles out a specific role as (more) deserving than any other. Thanks for clarifying.

Yes i do "lack balls" and i am a very humble person by nature. I never like to offend anyone or start arguments, and i was probably out of place saying what i did. I am highly educated, but i seldom correct people if i can read what they are saying. However i have no problem with others correcting me, that is how i learn. I am wondering if English is Mistress Dread's native language since she often refers to being from a third world country.
