i do believe, had a few spooky encounters, some in this very flat, my friend, daughter and husband have all seen a black dog here, i havent seen it, but have had that feeling where you know someone has entered the room, but when you look theres no one there.. an elderly man died in this flat, and he did have a dog, so we know the origin, we dont think theres anything evil, its just probably coming back to check out who lives here now...

I grew up in a haunted home in Chicago, and now live in one in Indiana. Because of this I've become an amature ghost hunter, or as we call it here ghost tracker. I've experienced many strange, and unexplainable things during my tracking. I however have never seen anything I would call a UFO, not that i'm denying that they exist.

It was pretty spooky and I'll fess up to quickly snatching a butcher knife from the kitchen! I got into a discussion with my mother about spirits. She said that if she had to give a scientific sounding explanation she felt that two worlds... two planes of existence had crossed momentarily. So when you see a glass hovering in air its only because someone in another world is looking at their coffee table, muttering to themselves - "Damned kids! Always leaving their dishes everywhere!" as that person prepares to take it into the kitchen. Likewise they probably see us picking up things, scaring the snot out of them! I heard another quite scary tale about what its like after death. Someone wrote a story where someone had died and been buried. The voice in the story started off by saying that it was terribly cold and much too loud for her taste. She couldn't stand her neighbors. The one to her left had a very nasty cold and would constantly blow his nose and sniffle all night long. The one to her right had been hit by a car and would have horrible dreams each night, reliving the tragedy and thus wake screaming like a banshee. She finally concluded that she wouldn't be well and truly dead until the worms had processed every last bit of her - returning her to the earth.

He's spoken to me once and a few other wierd things. I know my house is haunted and have had several people see the same kind of things I have. Yeah, George hides money. He once hid Ray's paycheck in a back closet under the heavy toolbox on the floor. A toolbox that someone else left here, so I never move it - it's stayed in the same spot for 3 years, until I went to vacuuum the closet and moved it and found the paycheck. I lived in Hawaii all my life, it is a very beautiful and magical place. It is also governed by "Akua" ( spirits). I was raised seeing things that were "normal", for us,..as in those who live there..., but I have incountered things other than just Akua.. When I live in a valley, Olomana. I was so afraid all the time. It was a " dorm", and every night. I would wake up feeling a "somthing" hovering over me. Now it would be late, and "Gawd Forbid" I wake any one. So I'd lay real still. One night I had to use the bathroom, if I had my way. I would have peed on my bunk mate, but she probably would have been insulted "not understanding it's my way of saying "I like you " lol. As I got down from my bunk, I felt... I can't really discribe it, but it was like a force field, one that had my hair standing on end. Very Powerful. But I had to go. So, with much trepidation, I ventured into the communal bathroom, I sat down, and started to get my buisness over and fast, when to my right, I felt breath on my face. Hot breath. no doubt,... Now there was there was a wall next me... but that didn't matter to the "unbound by gravity or diminsion",I was scare like a big dog. I was so scared that I couldnt even breath, move , or " like right as if," look at what ever was breathing on me. When "It" finally left. I got up. And got gone. The next morning , an old Timer, told me, that after 12 the bathroom was not our's anymore. "Uh hugh", I thought," Crazy bitch" , but non the less. I never went to bed w/ out peeing first. Ever again. I found out later that our "dorms" were in fact built of a sanitarium, built in the late 1890's. Most of the people there where ill, be it physical, or emotional( most were emotional).but they didn't discreminate. So there were people with T.B, housed in the same dorms as .say a Schzophrenics,how horrible that must have been,and for the sick having to live in fear of those with violent tendency's.So terrible for the pysically ill, unable to defend against those w/ preditory tendencies. I can't even imagine the fear thet lived with every day until they died. And so bad that even now it resonates through all those years.

I have actually always maintained that if Grey's do exist that they are in fact humans from the future - slightly more evolved to fit their current environment - where or when ever that may be . Space travel is also time travel, no? of all the millions of species of animal life alone on earth, how many are humanoid in appearance? Primates and specifically humanoids are relatively recent and have gone through tremendous change in a relatively short time. What are the chances of life emanating from another planet, solar system or even galaxy would be both so humanoid in form AND take an interest in earth. Perhaps they are coming to visit to restore a damaged gene pool? or maybe they are simply the perverted anthropologists from the year 10,656 with a bit of an anal fetish? hehe That said, I do beleive fervently that there is life elsewhere in the universe... though what form it takes is anyone's guess. single celled? Insectlike? Jellly? aethereal? Intelligent? Friendly? Gor? :) As for hauntings/ghosts... I've spent plenty of time in Gettysburg PA.... I do beleive that spirits wander amongst us. Best, Joshua

My first experience with a ghost happened when my family decided to remodel our small house to fit an increasingly growing family. My parents bought the home from a widow who's husband died in a bizarre accident in the home. The man kept his liquor in the basement, which was only accessible from the outside, or thru a trap door in the floor of the master bedroom. One winter night, the man was drinking heavily and since it was cold out he decided to climb a rope ladder to get into the house thru the trap door, and hung himself. When we decided to remodel the basement into living space we ended up using the master bedroom closet and the kitchen pantry for an inside stairway. The basement became three bedrooms, a bathroom, and laundry area. At the foot of the new stairs were the washer & dryer, with a light that was always on, so when we went downstairs we wern't stumbling over laundry baskets and such. This area was left open, with no walls inclosing the washer & dryer. (continued in next post)

The three older boys, (i'm #2 of 7 children) all had bedrooms down there, with my oldest brother having the largest, which was closest to the laundry area, and apparently the same area the previous owner kept his booze. Every night we could hear something stomping up and down the stairs as soon as we finished building them, and after we investigated the disturbance, we could never find anyone or thing that could be making the noise. Our dog, who was the biggest Lab I have ever seen, would not go anywhere near the stairway. After about two months my older brother asked me to switch bedrooms with him, which I thought was crazy, because he had the biggest room. Of course I agreed, and we swapped rooms. I soon found out why he wanted to switch... One february night I was asleep and sensed someone standing over me, I woke up to a shadowy figure standing next to my bed and I literally started throwing punches, but hit nothing but cold air. After coming fully awake, I rationalized that I was dreaming, and the cold air was due to winter. This happened three more times, and I realised it wasn't my imagination, or dreams. and did the research on the history of the house, and found out what happened to the previous owner. After three years the noise on the stairs, and the late night visitation stopped.
