I believe that you're referring to the Kinsey Scale that was developed by Dr. Alfred Kinsey in 1948. Today, it's looked upon as a rather simplistic look at sexual orientation. Using Kinsey's original classifications, 0-1 is heterosexual, 2-4 is bisexual and 5-6 is homosexual. If you were using a straight linear progression as the Kinsey Scale diagram does, there are more heterosexual and homosexual people than there are bisexuals. How do the numbers bear out in the real world? Hell, that's anybody's guess. Welcome to the forums! ~stef
