Also hair construction varies in men and women because of horomones, a gal like me after a few monthes of horomone therapy my hair will get finer and in some places I've heard that the hair just stops growing. So that is a reason for the differnet formulas for men and women.

The construction of hair in men is the same as it is in women. The reason for different "formulas" is more likely a marketing decision because men wouldn't buy the pittle pink bottles of Nair. If there was any difference in the ingredients between the pink and silver bottles (aside from color or fragrance), I would be incredibly surprised.

Speaking of all of this.....

has anybody ever had a brazil wax? I'm intrigued but too scared!

Shaving is a D-A-I-L-Y chore.... but hey. A sub's gotta do what a sub's gotta do, right?

Yes, and I can describe it in one word: "OUCH!" It's a pain that I never got used to, but to be honest if you have a good person doing it (I recommend a professional, at least for the first time) it isn't as bad as doing it yourself.

emeraldgreeneyez -> RE: Depilation (1/18/2005 4:37:41 PM)

I loved this posting. I am a hair removal junkie....I hate body hair on myself anywhere...just my thing I guess...however, I have discovered that baby oil is the only way to go. Baby oil and a brand new razor (with no wet/sticky/moisterizer strip each time, leaved things sooo smooth it's amazing. I read that anything with artificial fragrance will promote ingrown hair and rash, since the baby oil, I've never had a single issue. I prefer to keep my Husband very clean shaven, and to be honest, I do much better at it than he does. I use baby oil and a new razor, sometimes two. He has yet to have rough spots or any rash at all. Just a thought, but chemicals can be very rough on sensitive areas. Good luck!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!!!!!

OH THAT WAS FUN!

Good post.

On that note, it does seem a bit awkward to pull "ball skin" taut... that is, taut enough to rip out hair... I've had eyebrow waxes that have removed skin, and that's an area that is naturally taut... with a little tug from the person doing the waxing, its almost pain-free, so I can ONLY IMAGINE what it would be like to have yer nuts de-fleshed that way![:@]

sting516 -> RE: Depilation (1/20/2005 2:19:31 PM)

while i will admit to curiosity about long term hair removal, there is something so sexy about being shaved (especially for the first time) by one who would be my Domme...i know not every Domme would want to do that, but especially for the first time one gets shaved...that it's shaved because She wants it that way.

Of course, even then...shaving the sac is the worst!

I have to say one thing..."Thank God for that last post!" cynnacent I am so glad you wrote. I saw this thread and being in the trade Myself I thought hmmmm wonder what this is about.

Now I must also tell you I am inclined to be a sadist. I get alot of pleasure from pain, but to wax the balls of any Of Mine... ohhhh no! as much as I will say I have very few limits... this is one.

This skin is just not meant for waxing and especially if you have no experience in how to apply and remove wax. lol good way to lose a few layers of flesh. I have seen what a Master has done while attempting to wax his beloved slave, appling the wax to the tender skin in the crease between the leg and the labia... one quick pull and TA DA!! no skin! and a really nasty looking hickey kind of bruise... that poor girl loved her Master but she begged him to allow her to shave again. I really can't stress enough... Don't try this at home... or on your own. As cynnacent said... once you have put the wax on there is no backing out. It doesn't wash off. Nads and sugaring will but you will likely try at least one pull before you say, RED!!

This could be the next way to castrate! -=laughs and shakes her head=-

I would opt for the tweezing... if you really wanted them gone for more that a day or two, but you will need a bit of quiet time and a mirror to do it yourself.. or as others have said, have a freind do it and better still incorporate it into your play.

Enjoy

Have to say shaving is something I definitely enjoy, I shave my bratoften.. I like him hairless except for his beard :)

pandoravampire -> RE: Depilation (1/27/2005 7:35:39 AM)

Back crack n sac wax. Painful, over quickly and slow regrowth.

or a rather cheap wet wipe toilet tissue thing, rubbed over, and a lighter to ignite. its all gone very quickly, except the smell that is.

darkangel -> RE: Depilation (1/27/2005 9:06:54 AM)

Master plucks. By hand. Gets no rash. No burns. No cuts.

Swears by it.

lacyann -> RE: Depilation (1/27/2005 11:13:56 AM)

hair conditioner works great as a shave cream, it softens hair and skin

stef -> RE: Depilation (1/27/2005 11:43:17 AM)

You can get the huge bottles of Suave (or other no-name brand) conditioner for 99 cents and it lasts much longer than cans of shaving cream/gel which cost significantly more.

WAX?! You would be crazy to try and wax there OR have any one else do it for you. I don't care how much pain you might be into. That was the craziest idea I have seen so far. We're talking about the scrotum here. I don't even have balls and I'm cringing![:-]

Good luck!

aztecdocswhore -> RE: Depilation (1/29/2005 10:02:05 PM)

Here is a thought...no waxing, I am cringing at the thought myself and I am testicularly challenged, lol.
They have that personal touch razor, runs off of batteries, gets very close to the skin and you can't cut yourself either. You can buy it on T.V. for around $15 but can get the same thing at wal mart for around $9. I have one and it works really well. Just a thought.

phoenix52 -> RE: Depilation (1/30/2005 8:32:52 AM)

i use an electric razor and i LOVE it! The one i have is a Seiko Cleancut, they don't have them in stores in the US but you can order it online. It was kind of expensive ($70), but i think it was worth it, at least for me, i have the most sensitive skin ever. (The first time i shaved, new razor, shaving cream, nice and slow, i looked down and every hair follicle was bleeding!)

have you tried hot/warm/cold wax????

liltxsubby -> RE: Depilation (2/1/2005 6:42:58 AM)

What about the NADs stuff? I've never tried it, just an idea. Those depilatory creams never work for me, i'll leave it on for the max time and still have little hairs all over GRRRR. Guess i'll have to stick with shaving [:'(]

Yes, I've been to Brazil so to speak.....~g~

There are pluses and minuses I think. You still get the bumps as you do with shaving ~at least I did~ and as we know, those can be painful. I also found that I didn't like being that smooth.

I like clippers myself. It eliminates the ingrown hairs and the hurty bumps, and you can get fairly close (Note, I've always found that no matter what, you still end up taking a razor to the lips regardless of method), and I prefer to be closely trimmed as opposed to completely hairless.

I haven't read this whole thread, so if this is redundant, please forgive. I've also found with 'smoothy maintenance' that taking a mesh sponge to the area and giving it a good scrub can help to stave off the bumps that sometimes crop up due to ingrown hairs.

From conversations with others in the scene, there is apparently a 'hospital' grade dipilitory cream that can be purchased in hospital supply stores that is better than the 'Nair' type products found in the H&B section, but I have no primary experince with these, though from what I heard they are pretty good.

Good luck,
Lily
