ORIGINAL: MaitresseEden In my opinion this is the epitome of patriarchal dominance, and andro centric thought. " Me man.. me have money.. you female you have no money, you will worship me because of my money, with money comes power and control right now I have it and will give to you if you do my bidding. Unfortunately intelligence doesn't always accompany it. As for his sentence structure it came across as neadrethal man to me. Me Tarzan.. you be jane.. lol Ms. Eden Yup, I'd have to agree with your assessment. Me understand mannish think, just no want to be stupid neanderthal brute. Me cro-magnon, different from other man-animals. Me have evolved language skills, no need shiny pebbles for to attract wo-man. Me am poet, make pretty words, attract many wo-man. <edited to include an afterthought> It occurs to me that many of those who focus on money, power, and even athletic prowess, are frequently intimidated by and annoyed at "girlie men" like me who have the ability to use arts and crafts as a means of attracting women, and thus do not need to bother with the usual masculine heirarchical pecking order. Poets, musicians, and artists have traditionally been quite popular with the ladies, and in androcentric/patriarchal communities, are frequently looked down upon as unmanly and weak. The truth of the matter, of course, is that we have already proven our right to pass genetic material on to the next generation, while they're still busting their chops looking for a little recognition. It's good to be me, some days.
