Dry or wet? I have to admit my mind was in the gutter, hehe. I've used both as well and continue to do so because I have wood floors.

Iwill you are a joy!!

... never bothered with either method. i prefere a broom ... then on hands and knees with hot sudsy water & a stiff brush. Then ... buffed dry with an old terry towel ... usually.

P.S. ... am thinking we ARE speaking of floors here. Otherwise ... wet, no choice in it at all, no thought to it even ... always wet.

Digitalfoto has them for 132.50 plus shipping. Sears for 149.99.

I see you like this. Do you find that the brushes and squeegy add value? Do you need filters or bags for it?

Inquiring minds want to know!

That's how I do the bathroom but our kitchen is just too big for that on a regular basis.

I used to polish and buff the floors with towels, too. I'm glad those days are behind me.

Midear Iwill-

I use the wet, but ususally use it dry first, then wet. My apartment is about a third tiled, comprising the kitchen/ dining/desk area, and as it is the first part of my home that one enters, it 'dirties up' pretty fast, so every few days I dry swiffter, and then wet it, using the same tool.

I actually love the product- fast easy compact- and it works...

Stay warm,
Lawrence

Sounds like you need a sub to do that for you Lawrence.

Neither, swiffers have an ingredient inside of them that is much like anti-freeze. The animals are attracted to it and if they lick it is fatal.

Midear Proud-

On those occasions when I have a person serving me, I have a long list of things for them to do. None of them involve household chores.

I am rather houseproud, and territorial. I won't allow most people to clean my dishes, much less cook or clean in my apartment, and frankly, it is usually done faster and better (or at least more to my specification) if I do it myself<g>.

Stay warm,
Lawrence

Well I donate quite a bit of money to an animal rights group. They sent me the e-mail about the swifters in their news a few month's back. I'm yet to see a retraction come from them.

Hmm.
