Exactly. God, I want to think this is some kind of joke, some kind of humiliation kink manifesting itself on this board. Unfortunately, it's probably exactly the perfect thread for this particular section...random stupidity.

Good question! I have wondered about that myself.

I am not sure, but perhaps its because in vanilla society, let alone as a Dom, guys are expected to have some measure of responsibility and self control. But perhaps many guys who identify as sub think that they are free to act irresponsibly, without any forethought or recrimination.

I am not saying that subs are free from the duty of responsibility - we all have to be responsible for our own actions and choices. That is part of being a mature adult.

But perhaps the dumber members of the male persusasion are attracted to being a sub because they think they are freed of the burden of being mature.
