Status: offline 		I have a friend who has gotten himself into a bit of situation, or mess would be a better term. He met a sub on IRC about a three years ago and they have had a online/phone relationship. She has said she desperately wants to be a 24/7 slave and he believes that he wants that as well with this person. They met twice (for sex it sounds like) in all this time because they live states apart.

HOWEVER after being with this sub all this time and spending nearly every nite online together, not to mention many long distant phone calls during the day, her sister comes online to tell him that his sub has died in a tragic car accident. He is of course very upset and grieving because they had developed feelings for one another and now she was gone. Weeks went by and some other sub friends from the same IRC chat channel told him that the deceased sub was married IRL to her second husband. When he first started with her she lied about her age and sent him a fake pic of her own daughter, which she fessed up to only days before he was scheduled to meet her IRL.

Three months goes by and suddenly she appears online telling him how sorry she is, that she was indeed married and trying to work out her marriage but that it fell apart mainly because she was so in love with my Dom friend. She said she lied about her age and sent the picture of her daughter just as a sexual * tease*. She expressed a desire to leave her husband and be my Don friend eternal, devoted slave.

My friend is seriously considering taking her on. I think he is CRAZY. I told him if she's lying to her husband and lying to you already what sort of relationship base do you think you will have if there is no trust? Shes also telling him already that after a year of servitude she wants a wedding ring on her finger as well. I told him run do not walk to the nearest exit on this one.

Im curious how other Masters would feel if they were put into this sort of situation, would you collar her?

I mean, after a year a RING? Something is wrong there......He can't possibly be that desperate to fall for this womans antics. Get him away from her before he loses everything that he has now, including his sanity!

I think when subs "die" like this they go to the same place that Dommes from "expert" subs go so that they can never be contacted for references...think it's with all the single socks that get lost in the wash

She's nothing more than a big ol' ball of NO. Drag your friend into the shower, turn on the cold water, and slap him around! She's lied, she's played the "dead but not dead" card.. I wouldn't want to hear even an apology from her -- I certainly wouldn't consider welcoming her back with open arms.

After all, what kind of relationship - especially one that may or may not involve marriage - can be sustained without trust?

Tell Him your concerns, express your thoughts on the relationship and its future, listen to what He has to say about it, then step back and let Him make His own choices. As an adult, He's entitled to make His own mistakes (if that's what it turns out to be).

And as His friend, be there to take Him for a beer if/when things fall apart.

That's what a friend does.

Edit: To answer the question, no, I personally wouldn't want to collar her, if I was a Dominant. As a slave, I probably wouldn't want her as an aquaintance either.

I think overall the relationship is off to a pretty good start. I think just like all relationships nowadays, they got a 50/50 chance.

I would blow both of the shitbreathers out.

I would agree with valeca, speak to him, once. Say what you have to say simply. That is about all you can do, if he proceeds, not much more you can do except to wait for the fall out and be his friend. I think we have all made foolish decisions, despite the advice of friends and family. I'm glad I have chosen friends who were still there for me in the aftermath.

Not without first having a lobotomy so I could at least have something to blame my flaming stupidity on besides myself!

Your friend needs to have his head examined if he's even remotely considering taking this girl back into his life. She faked her own death, for crying out loud! How pathetic is that? What would be even more pathetic would be for him to collar her, and she takes him for an even bigger ride. Is he that desperate, that he would settle for an admitted liar and fraud?

He should do it to positively reinforce all these behaviors and traits in her that he loves. Deceit, dishonesty, trickery, cheating, disloyal, and the fabulous mother that she must be sending out pictures of her unmentionable as enticement!!!!

I mean, really, who doesn't want a partner just like her?

All joking aside, if he has to ask, if anyone had to ask, they deserve what they get.

Status: offline 		Tell your friend to run, don't walk to the nearest exit and never look back. Break ALL contact with this woman and don't even CONSIDER meeting her, talking to her or anything else. She is trouble with a capital 'T' and it isn't going to get better, but it will get worse.

Ask him what he'd do if it was YOU and he was asked for advice. (Or if it was his son and a girlfriend).

I would suggest your friend get off the computer and meet people in real life. There are a great many strange beasties in these wire woods; one who is too trusting and lacking a certain cynicism of humanity will surely be taken advantage of here.

Sadly, this story is not as uncommon as it should be.

This woman apparently is well practiced in the art of lying/manipulation and my friend unfortnately is one of those nice sensitive guys who has fallen for her lame duck story. From what he tells me this woman has more baggage then American Tourister.

He's rather new at this whole thing and Yes I do intend to sit him down and have a Domme to Dom talk with him. If he decides to go with it all I can do is respect his decision and be there to for him to lean on when it all falls apart.
