Oh lol! How can they do that, when I'm so naieve, innocent and demure ;) thanks for letting me know I hadn't realised :) and thanks for the generous offer but I have a domain name and hosting for a site that I'm working on now. Will re link my posts when that is ready to go. :)

Back to Starhawk's words, I so agree with her in that respect. It's like the word 'fat', or 'slut' or 'bitch' or 'whore' or whatever derogatory term someone wishes to throw at someone else...it is so freeing and refreshing and be able to turn around to someone who is slinging them and say 'yeah I am, you have an issue with that?' or some such other retort that claims the term for yourself.

A "funny" story I have to share.
I once new a sub - gorgeous, useful, financially secure, smart...
He was recovering from the end of his D/s relationship - a relationship HE ended.

He had been a full-on slave to a beautiful lesbian dominant. This relationship was straight out of a book - she kept him under her stairs, he would sign over his paycheques on pay day, in the home he was a naked slave to do her bidding at all times.

Then, she ended her realtionship with a woman and ended up in a hetero romance. He was outraged. That she could suddenly develop a love for cock and NOT HIS...

He became sullen, then angry and then he ended his relationship with her. I don't know where he's at with this now (this was over 10 years ago and I have not seen in almost as many as he left the scene altogether), but the last I heard he was still angry about "what she did to him."

Ironic.

*Smile* You're right.
It is not ironic.
It is typical.
