mistoferin -> Sound play anyone? (2/15/2006 8:24:42 AM)

I was at a concert last night. I absolutely love the way the sound at those high levels reverberates through your whole body and quite frequently, I know this is not good for your ears, but I will get as close to the speakers as is humanly possible.

I had a Dominant once who had expressed an interest in incorporating that into play. I am wondering if anyone has ever successfully managed this. I think that the combination of the internal vibrations of the sound combined with external stimuli such as flogging would be absolutely amazing.

Anyone? Is there any way to get that same intensity of reverberation short of strapping yourself to a speaker at a concert hall naked and being flogged?

The experimental group Throbbing Gristle claims that women occasionally have orgasms at their concerts if the volume is high. They claim this particularly for a song called "Discipline." Figures...

I so know where you are going with this.... my former Master and I use to use headphones... duel ones.. so that we both could hear the music... feel the vibration.... and he knew when it was hitting me good.... (also the best time for hand signals for safe words.. LOL)

I thought it was intense... we both loved it.

There's a TENS out there that pulses the electronics based on sound waves- so when you speak or make sounds into a microphone, it sends impulses. Interesting fun when shrieks make more impulses which make more shrieks...

There's just playing loud thumping music and flogging along with it, feeling the reverberations go out and back in can be very cool.

A good sensual trick is to cane someone to the beat of their heart.

I've done that too because...well I generally like my music to be ALOT louder than most other people....especially at a party. But that is not what I am talking about. I am talking about when it is so loud that you can feel it thumping in your chest...like at a fireworks show....or when you can feel the percussion in your OTHER really sensitive parts. I can't get that from headphones or even home stereo. Maybe laying on really big subwoofers or something? Like Chaingang said....I have had orgasms at concerts from the intensity of the percussion of the sound. It just seems to me that if you added play to that experience it would be over the top...unfortunately though, I think security would take serious offense.

truesub4u -> RE: Sound play anyone? (2/15/2006 8:53:58 AM)

LOL.... Mist....... you need a better home stereo then..

But I get what your saying here...... I went to Pink Floyd Concert back in 79...."The Wall"...(just starting to really experiance everything... sex.. submission... rock music!.. lol)... and I remember being so close to that stage... those speakers... the vibration...

Last one I attened.... and felt that way during... afterwards... was at a Poison concert... (shivers)... thanks for the fond memories of that one mist... (grinz)

And in remembering just that... LOL.. my daughter still can't figure out why I won't let her attend a slipknot (ugh) concert.... LOL

I know exactly where you are coming from mistoferin. I grew up with a rock band practicing in my basement and if I close my eyes I can be right there in my bed at night, on the second story of the house, feeling the bass rock me. I like my music louder than most people can stand it, mostly because of the damage my ears suffered as a child.

I have orgasmed at concerts from the vibrations of the music, as well as on a Harley...there's a definite correlation there.

oh, and Slipknot? I saw them in April...(floats off to dreamland) Umm, yeah, I'll take her if you don't want to.

Different kind of vibration but...OH YEAH!!! Specifically (and fondly) remembering one of the bikes an ex of mine owned...that damn bike was a dangerous ride!!! I can get off on almost any Harley but that one in particular....whoa! By the end of the trip I was exhausted....and I can remember on at least one occasion we had to stop cause I just needed a break to catch my breath.

Try a 441 cc BSA. Single cylinder about the size of a beer can making thousands to "thumps" a minute. On that beast when I'm riding double, I wear leathers... otherwise my shirt and chest get shreeded by fingernails

She's 13.. she's not going!... But after reading what you and mist have said.... I"M GOING!... lmao

having heard some of their music from daughter... I can tell you it's not going to be for the lyrics either.. just the music.. LOL

Zenonis -> RE: Sound play anyone? (2/15/2006 11:13:10 AM)

I have never tried sound play as you describe it here. I have found that good music while playing can help set a tone. I have used classical music a lot because it fills the room with sound, but no words to catch your mind and distract you or her. Or the words are in another langauge. Malher's 5th is good, and the sword forging scene of Wagner's is great for flogging.

vanillacreme -> RE: Sound play anyone? (2/15/2006 11:30:46 AM)

wOw...and I thought concerts were just good for *relaxation*. I'm putting ticketmaster on my speed-dial!

OscarHargraves -> RE: Sound play anyone? (2/15/2006 11:39:04 PM)

A good jet engine will give you the same effect without as much deafness. I suggest a two ship or four ship grouping of F-16s running up for take-off. Now THERE'S a really sweet sound !

Sirandlittle1 -> RE: Sound play anyone? (2/16/2006 12:17:58 AM)

ive certainly enjoyed 'errant' orgasms willy nilly at concerts. [:D]
didnt happen when i saw slip knot last year though[:(]
Has anyone here heard Himalayan Throat singing? Its a singing technique that resonates from the chest, abdomen and throat. When i hear that, i cum, very fast too. The vibrations seem to be on the same frequency as my clit. Its not singing as we know it, its more a sound with notes. Its beautiful, and ive tried and tried to do it, but cant.

If you wish to try really loud thumping music and play, try the dance clubs, plenty of play going on in them, often with dark rooms for play. And that's not bdsm clubs, just ordinary vanilla, or the leather scene.

Excuse my ignorance with this question, but arent sounds in bdsm something to do with uerethral play, catheters and such? Ive never looked it up coz it not something that hits my button.

They can be. Those are slightly curved surgical-steel rods. Of course "sound" can also mean music. And, of course, for me some of the finest music are screams accompanied by begging.

People who say that classical music is 'relaxing' don't like classical music. :)

As much as I love Bach, Madame Butterfly, Phantom of the Opera... to name a few... I have to agree with this Zenonis. I love to listen to Opera... Loud... and get lost in feeling everything around me... This is for those special nights.. no kids home that can knock on the door... phone off the hook.... sign on front door that reads... you knock.. you die...LOL
