Here's a poll question; I'm genuinely interested in the results, because I think the question polarizes most of the American population.

Which do you think is more likely to exist?

(There's no "both" option, because I'm not asking which DOES exist; I'm asking which you think is MORE LIKELY to exist.)

Well, only because of the way you worded the question...I have to go with ET. It is my belief that the concept of a supreme being is more spiritual than actually physical, while I also believe that we truly are not the only physical beings in the universe.

Definitely ET. We can't be the only beings in this broad universe.

ahhh. the age old question... the old bearded man on the cloud or the little wrinkley man who waddles out of my toolshed and drinks my beer and points glowing fingers at me. We will never know.

God is a matter of faith and therefore not even under consideration of "exist" or "does not exist"

such language is set in the head/conscious relam of facts. God is not a fact to be proven true, OR disporven as false .... it is simply not part of that world of black/whit -right/wrong.

so, aliens are more likely to "exist" as they are a matter of fact ... they either are there, or not there.

Candy, I am not disputing the existance of spiritual beings , only the idea that they are PHYSICAL beings.

I think it polarizes the whole planet.

I'd say God... but I definitely believe in both.

A very interesting question actually. I ponder Myself on what level God exists.

If we are to believe the Bible, which I do, we know that two men have actually met God and lived to tell about it. One man never died, but was taken up in the sky to eternal life.

I have seen things happen in My own life when I was walking on the right path that never could have happened without divine intervention.

So, those of faith know that something does exist. Interestingly enough, if you think about it hard enough and open your mind up to the possibilities, you could apply much of what you read in the Bible to the existence of aliens. In other words, back when the Bible was written men did not have the ability to effectively communicate science such as the beginning of the world and strange phenomena. They compacting stories to pass along from generation to generation, just touching on generalizations and non-specifics to make it easier to pass on. It is entirely possible when they were communicating the concept of a rapture, for instance, and that those who walked in Christ would be taken to heaven that they were whisked away by aliens to another planet in the stars, while the hell could be an earth with an ever expanding sun and eroded ozone layer making the heat unbearable.

I do not want to vote one or the other, because if you have an open mind, both are equally possible.

Hi. I don't care. Thanks.

If someone has to tell you how smart (or great) they are, chances are they are not.

I think it's more likely that God exists, because none of ET's works ever inspired something as amazing as this.

I like the little electric-boogie move he does at the very end. We were all doing that in sixth grade.

which is more likely to exist? only having 2 choices..i chose ET.
but then
i deny any such thing as a deity.
i deny any existence of demonic powers.

but hell
i deny any existence of extra terristrial(sp?)

i deny a lot of things in this world.
some things people just accept on faith..
i am NOT a man of faith or patience..
i DEMAND results
if any..ANY gods exist..show yourself NOW or go away and be damned
if ANY ET's exist..show yourself now or be damned
if ANY thing exists...PROVE IT to me...
if i cant see it..hear it///touch it..taste it...feel it....it aint there

results...not hearsay.

later
