That's exactly what I did. I've always been a bit impatient. I've always looked for the other qualities that would make a person compatible to me, then I've introduced them to the lifestyle. I met my husband that way.

I never had much luck trying to kink out vanilla relationships from the perspective of a submissive which I am, it the other person doesn't feel it themselves they are just doing it to make you happy, it doesn't work out. Though in my vanilla days I would occassionally "take charge" sexually and learned a lot that way. One thing other than sexually, though I did sort of covertly practice my service submission on vanilla partners, cooking him dinner, serving him, rubbing his feet or bathing him when we would shower together. In my head I was being a good little submissive, even if he didn't know or notice... I think that helped honed a lot of the way I approach the non-sexual side of submission.

Because most (all of the ones I ever encountered) of them go running at the prospect of anything other than hollywood romance.

Oh yes, same here. I have tried in the past with a vanilla that really wanted to try out new things. Get kinky as he stated. And all I know is he really wanted to try fisting as well.

Well long story short. He got what he wanted. Freaked out. And our "sex" life went down hill and we split up. He just couldn't get past that he fisted me. All though he knew I was deformed afterwards. He just couldn't deal with it in his mind.

So when it comes to any form of BDSM.... not with a vanilla again.. no way in hell... LOL
