if you dont click on the 'logout' button, collarme will show you as being online even after you have closed all your windows, gotten offline from your isp, shut down your computer, unplugged the phone line, pulled the power cord, and turned off the main breaker to your home. So I agree, the 'who's online' indicator can be misleading.

Ha Ha I'm reading a book right now that involves space ships and Dominant men...what EXACTLY are "WMDs"???? and do they wear flip flops???

WMD is "Weapon of Mass Destruction"

Which Hussein had in small amounts thereby justifying invasion by US forces.

And which Pakistan and India and Isreal also have in large amounts thereby justifying our not invading them.

~grins..its a good think my 2cents wasnt the least bit interested in dropping in value then by trying to sign on your prospects

that being said.. one of the things.. that often separates the grownups from the folks still getting there, is their ability to take advice, critism, other folks experiences and take them, or leave them, but doing so without being vicious and unkind.. of course.. perhaps those issues get in the way of other folks day to day life as well...

I understand. But, he thought he was doing right. It's so hard to know how someone else will see your actions and words. You and I could write the same sentence and each see different points of view in it and have different impressions. Maybe it's that bit of sub I cart around but I do try to be fair and give them a really good chance to blow it. :)

The question is, why do they all keep blowing it? I heard from this guy too. I knew right away he had never bothered to read my profile. I corresponded back and forth a few times knowing it was pointless.

Hope things are going better for you. :)

As has been pointed out to you countless times, Sinergy.

1) Pakistan is on our side
2) So is India
3) Both their WMD are aimed at each other while someone like Iran will aim one at New York (The second lagest congregation of Jews in the world.)
4) There is a serious tactical problem involved in invading someone who has nuclear weapons as opposed to someone working on nukes. (The tactical problems for chemical and biological stuff is alledgedly manageable.

By opening this can of worms (again) do you want to close another thread?

(Note to Moderators: I won't respond further to this subject. I suggest that everyone be reminded to stay on topic.)

BTW, space ships and Doms describes the "Gor" series.

I have the best first un-impression yet. The badly spelled form letter, immediately followed by profusive "take me, take me please" and of course, "send me pictures" and "talk dirty to me" seems de rigeur with wannabes... but the most surprising first contact I've ever had was this one today (names not deleted to protect the rest of us from the guilty).

Well I didn't send the usual introductory email as I don't send to anyone I've either not met or chatted to - unless it's a reply to a public post. I did something worse. Met a lady Domme at my first play-party and played with Her then and at the following one. What I did wrong was after the 2nd Scene I made an utterly incorrect assumption that there was some kind of arrangement between us when it was just casual play. The second mistake was that I sent Her endless emails, up to 8 per day at one point, commenting on posts she'd made on the boards and telling more of myself - none of which was wanted. She'd replied to a mail saying that I may call Her 'Mistress' only during a scene and in no way was I to infer Her as 'My' anything. I dont think I understood this fully and continued sending Her more intimate and unwanted email, then She finally flipped when I signed one of them 'Love Ian' and I got the 'I suggest You look elsewhere' final mail. Such was my mistake and I now dont know how or if to appologise so I've just ceased sending anything to Her, but I am still foolishly following Her posts on the boards.

Well that's my mistakes, and I hope no-one else makes them - though I suspect some will.[image][/image][image][/image][image][/image]

It's based on the number of posts you've made. Once you've made 25 posts it will change (to newbie, I think), then again at 50, 75, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 1000, etc. There's a different name and a variety of different icons to indicate posting frequency.

So chill...the more you get involved, the less time you'll spend as "vanilla".
