i am candystripper (formerly pinkpleasures) and have been a member of the Bars in Ohio and Florida since 1989. I have posted a thread called "Planning for BDSM Couples and Families". If you have any difficulty finding the thread, please email me and i will assist You.
In brief, a BDSM couple or family has issues under the law which are not presented -- or not to such a degree -- as vanilla couples and families.
i do not charge for an initial consultation nor for telephone conversations. My rate is $75 an hour and i have two paralegals i can use to further reduce costs. i am willing to work for any couple or family in the United States, but do not litigate.
Generally speaking, a non-married or married couple and a poly family would need/benefit from a series of documents cognizable at the law of their state, dealing with matters which may or will arise from the inception of the relationship through it's end, whether by consent, incapacity or death.
Given my experience, including a Masters in Tax Law, i am probably able to market my time at $300 in the city where i live. However, i choose to reduce my rates so that the average person can afford me. It is my desire to use my skills for the benefit of BDSM'ers. This part of life has given me many blessings, and i wish to give back as much as i am able.
i am happy to give estimates; charge on a flat fee; make payment arrangements; or otherwise accomodate a couple or family with limited finances. However, i chose to do my pro bono (free) work elsewhere.
