Do it. One thing I have always wanted to do is get my rotary wing certification, but the finances and time have never coincided to allow this to happen. Not yet anyway.

You'll kick yourself for the rest of your life if you don't take him up on this offer.

So far. I've survived two plane crashes. I kept the prop from one to remind me not to get overconfident. The other wasn't my fault.

I think stef is right. I honestly can't even put into words the thrill of flying a small plane for me. And having the open skies of Nebraska, instead of all the controlled airspace in the East Bay, would be heaven, let alone making money with something you love. And you *will* love it, trust me, lol, though actually that's how I feel about teaching Mythology as well.

It comes with no guarantees, of course. (Good to hear you were able to walk away, twice, John.) But the reward has always been worth the risk, for me.

I am an active duty soldier in the Army. Also work part time at home in customer service and have a part time job doing pyrotechnics (fireworks) around the world (whenever I can find someone who wants to pay the bill). I like keeping busy. Currently working on my BS and also some computer networking certifications.

I paint cars [:D]... that pays the bills.. I do a few other things but they're hobbies.. like teach a martial arts class..(ps currently it costs me to teach.. so we'll rule that out as what pays the bills<s>) I've done a few things in my life.. funnest one to reflect on was being a civilian contractor at S.H.A.P.E ( supreme headquarters allied powers europe) or the better definition (super holiday at public expense).. I was a crypto technician.. thats where we take all your radio, satelite and any other form of voice transmissions and um.. use math to make them unreadable) no I didn't design the systems I just repaired them and did modifications .. fun time..

Currently a full time Mom. By profession, I'm a CNA (Certified Nurse's Aide). Taking care of people is what I do, and all I know how to do basically.

The technical title of my job is: Behavioural Services Aide

However, in layman's terms i am a "bus bouncer"

i work solely riding along on the school bus with behaviourally challenged/special needs children to ensure proper following of the rules, and that they are not harming each other or themselves.

I work as a consultant in the Education/Training field. I actually like it quite a bit.

I'm a DJ, and KJ (karaoke). I own my little company so I can set my hours around Master and our 3 kids.

I'm a kept man.

I send my alpha out to work (she earns more than I ever could) and sit home all day most days.

I am the music coordinator for one of the most up-and-coming BDSM clubs in London, the house master of another fetish club just outside London, and a part-time professional dom.

I have little in the way of formal education so I have run a varied gamut of career paths in the past; mainly manual work such as construction, warehousing, painting, decorating, and horticulture - but have also been a freelance journalist, technical illustrator, photographic technician and electronics/mechanical assembler and technician.

I currently have a number of fingers in a number of separate pies...

Very cool, jennifer, I also worked as a KJ for a couple of years, before I "branched out" into live music (with a real band, lol). Live music is great, but I miss the dependability of a CD+G! :) They're always in the right key, they don't zone out into their own solo unexpectedly, and they always stop when they're supposed to! Of course, the words on the screen are handy, too.[:D]

[:)]wow! you are ALL so smart and busy! i have in the past been as well.. raised two kids married a couple times .. ran my ex's office for 12 yrs and was a CNA on and off since i was 16 as well as my favorite job...bartending! how fun having a party every night and being the hostess! anyway.. for the past 2 years plus i have been Masters girl.. He is retired and i take care of Him.... period.. i wouldn't mind a job outrside the home nor would Master but...we live in a rural area and there really aren't many jobs. i just cant get up the enthuseasim for stocking shelves in the local grocery. and anyway.. Master is handicapped and needs me here throughout the day to do things for Him.
lol. maybe i am not interesting enough for everyone and THAT is why i find it hard to communicate or make friends.. lol wow!

My paying job is in the customer service field.

My pro-bono side job is as the Business Manager for a hookah catering service my boyfriend owns.

My other pro-bono side job is Programming Chair for the local TNG group. (Don't tell me it's not a job. That is 10-20 hours a week of work.)

Lastly, I'm finishing up my BA in Psychology.

So yeah, I'm busy.

The only problem is it is not a dream of mine. It is somewhat of a whim I have been considering for a while. Thinking of moving and what to do when we get there....etc. Not having to work yet at the same time able to work and make whatever I desire with as much effort as I care to put into it. That appeals.
I twill be nice not being a workaholic anymore. Most of the time while on here reading I am also working. Just multi tasking. Of course I somehow know no matter what I choose I will be a workaholic.

When i finish school in 2 and half years (growl, its really that long) I will have a history major with masters in eduction. I want to teach high school world history.

now for a dream on the other hand i want ot learn how to make swords, and metalwork from a smith and hopefully one day build myself a catle wiht a blacksmith shop that i cna run a buisness out of during my summers and breaks. If anyone would happen to know anyone who is a blacksmith and does the metalwork plus swords i would love to talk with them.
