Almost everything I post is based on my real life as a 24/7 owner and a person who identifies as a dominant sadist as her primarily sexual orientation.

I dunno what you've been reading, but it seems to me that the questions posted here are largely about real life realtionships.

Certainly my answers are based on my experiences.

I'm confused, are you read the same forums that I do? I think the vast majority of posts are about real life, I know mine certainly are.

I don't know what threads you've been reading, but Veronica, you might have just caught a few threads that were from onliners lately. There does seem to be an increase in them.

Speaking for myself, I only post from a real life perspective, and read most of the posts coming from others that seem quite real also.

I'd almost enjoy seeing a check box, in the profile, to indicate R/L or onliners. It's rather disheartening sometimes to get involved in threads to find out the entire situation was "online only."

The other thing...if you'd like a topic discussed, bring it up yourself, and others will jump in. Enjoy!

I am taking "real life" to mean "life outside the bdsm/wiitwd world." Vanilla things, like jobs or other outside interests, etc.

I think the reason few posts on those topics may be that this is a bdsm centered set of forums. I wouldn't head to "Ask a Master" to inquire what dessert would be suggested for my monthly Bunco group. I am not going to go to "Polyarmorous Lifestyles" to talk about the KU game tonight in Maui. And if I did, the thread would quickly be banished to the off topic/casual banter sections, There you will see a greater percentage of real life questions.

If your referring to things like saying how Master Mind Phucked me into screaming on the deck on afternoon and how I felt it was just a trick, or how he made me learn how to make coffee 4 different ways so I knew how, or the fact that he gave me a few hundred feet of rope cut into pieces and made me whip it myself. Geez I could go on, but I'd be tellin tales out of school.

Is it for you? I do know of a couple here who do not post anything in real life. They figure if you're stupid enough to believe them and assume they are talking real life you get what you deserve.
Although, I think that is morally wrong. Everything I ever speak of just like most here is based on real life. Either I personally have had experience to talk of...or I know someone else who has. Which I've overseen. Those situations that I haven't I don't speak of on the forums.

He's a sadist

I will happily start talking about real life in 3 months. Right now I am in the land of cyber limbo waiting to get the hell out of it.

Well, i always try to post from personal experience, but i have a general lack of experience so i try to leave disclaimer in every post. Keep in mind when i say this i have very little real life experience (better than none right?). SEE just like that.

Is it for you?
-------------------

no actually. i live in a real world where bills are paid and floors are hand cleaned on hands n knees and dishes are done and bedding is changed and laundry is done............................
no. it is not.
i just don't see any of THIS ever mentioned when it comes to people looking for, referring to, asking about relationships and all the hoodoo between s/m and vanilla.
i just wish i could find more real life in posts.

i feel it would help a helluvalot when it comes to understanding this lifestyle...vs vanilla.
but i guess it's JUST me here.

maybe i have removed myself so far away from relationship life that i have no concept of it anymore. all "I" know about is work...work...work.

there is NO such thing as quality time because i have no concept what it means........
but i see SO much fantasy on here it often times leaves me feeling sad about the world.

ah well.

Here's one. (I'm kinda wondering if we're reading the same posts, as well.)
Real life is just about all I have time for, personally, besides reading here and there, and offering a bit of my wit and wisdom, when I think I've a little something to contribute. Her Highness here happily keeps me rather busy, when I am not working, or working.
Now, I just called her at work to let her know a hot, rich, fatty, garlicky pot of chicken/mushroom/noodle soup awaits on the stove to warm her bones when she gets in... and I smelled her perfume on the phone from her call this morning, by the way.
Anyhow, have to work at 11:30, and If I don't get to sleep before she walks through that door over there, she will come over to the sofa where I'll be curled up, taking in her perfume yet again, trying not to breathe harder in response, and feigning sleep... sit on me, and tickle the crap out of me, or worse! ~loving sigh~ Ain't real life grand?

I see you're not wasting any time making assumptious posts after your name change from lone wolf.

Most of what's written is not fantasy it's real people's lives. D/s is not all work work work all the time to every one. For you yeah, but for every one no. There actually is love and romance and sappyness, that's not fantasy that's real.

When I ask about making my mates semen taste better, that's real life I really do those things, When I asked about alternatives to natural lube, that's real life. The need really happens. It's not "fantasy" It's plain jain life happening. I do not see all this "fantasy posts" you refer to.

Oh yeah and today I had to wake up early get dressed and ready to sit at the dmv for an hour in a half almost miss my turn because they don't take ATM cash only and it was 21 dollars, and get a newCA ID cause mine is expired, And I had to take care of the grooming needs of my dog and bathe him. I still have to wash the toilets and clean the back room.

Real lifey enough for you lol?

Real life, like scrubbing toilets, doing laundry, wiping unmentionable butts, cooking dinner, doing laundry, running errands, letting the dogs out and picking up the shit off the floor when they don't get out in time? I'm not sure what there is to say about that kind of real life, except perhaps that I hope we find a chain sister for toy soon so that she doesn't work herself to a frazzle.
Be well
Timothy

Your version of "real life" happens to be unlike most relationships, and you seem to complain when other people point out the trials and tribulations of this 'real life' which include things like:

** Passion
** Sex
** Romance
** Emotional Intimacy
** Affection
** Joy
** Sorrow

You point out that you know nothing of these things because your relationship is all about service, only service, and that's that. And you apparently get frustrated that other people *do* have a vested interest in relationships that contain things like sex and sincere affection, cuddling, love, joy and arousal.

Just because you have a lustless, sexless, affectionless relationship based entirely on service does not mean everyone else does not have a legitimate relationship or power exchange. In fact, for many people, these are critical components and without them the relationship would be soulless.
