As for the topic at hand, unless it is part of a play roleplaying senario, the naughty student or rude sosity lady, i am not bratty, but i do like painplay, usualy for the submissive way it makes me feel, but somthimes also for itself. i think that the best part of painplay is not pain itself, but being comforted afterwards, that closeness is somthing i realy enyoy. But somtimes a hard spanking just for fun is werry nice, but yes, i have met fewer girl submissives that just say i need a spanking than boy ones, but it waries.
Aftercare is always part of my negotiations. My preference is cuddle time... well, actually my preference is a sandwich cuddle with Libby and me as the "bread." However, a number of times I've been told "just give me a blanket, personal space and leave me alone. I'll honor that but I do find that it leaves me with "cuddle deprived."
I like your approach since I find nonconsensual bratting to be annoying, but in the context of a role play, quite a lot of fun. It's also a neat way to get constant feedback in a high intensity scene so I know my partner is still enjoying herself. (Think of it as a "Green.")
