I have never considered fire play before. But, after reading this thread, it definitely seems interesting.

Has anyone ever experienced burns while doing this? What went wrong if you did?

Does it hurt? Like on a scale of 1-10?

How erotic are we talking here?

I'm very interested in anything that can get me into supspace. So anyone with more info on that would be great.

Dug up this thread after doing a search and just had a quick question i hope someone wouldn't mind answering.

the Devils Fire sounded very interesting, and while i would not try it myself until gaining much more experience in the fire play area, i was wondering where would be a good, or likely, place to purchase the teaser pins/dissecting needles.

Most any school biological/science supply company will have them. We get ours from Carolina Biological Supply.

Main point (no pun intended) is to get carbon steel.

Flash paper is highly volatile stuff. Claiming it's extremely safe is just plain stupid. It can be fun stuff to play with, but the way you talk about it is just plain irresponsible.

Ummm I haven't experienced any serious burns, but I have gotten my finges a bit singed when I was doing it on someone else. Just had the flame on my hands a bit longer than I should have.

Burns hurt. Burns hurt bad. If you've been burnt cooking or such before, you know what I mean.

Sir and I did try fireplay..
I didn't get burned he was very... VERY careful..
Burns are bad.... and I didn't want to try fireplay to get burned!
Erotic.. hmm.. extremely! I can't wait until we do it again!!
I agree with LA... I also don't have any idea what will or won't get you into subspace.

I have a very intense fear of fire, a bit ironic considering I have three family members in the Fire Department and have never been hurt/burned in the line of duty. I've never seriously burned myself. But I have treated burn vitims and that is a horrific injury to treat. My Top understood these fears but is great at fire play, it is not really His thing as it is more of a sensual play and He is a Sadist but He wanted to take me there, to face and disarm that fear. I trust Him beyond a shadow of a doubt and He did fire play on a few others before He talked me through it. It was like a gentle massage. I am still not so keen on fire but I am no longer afraid of fire play. If done right it can be a very sensous,erotic play. Being the pain slut I am *s* I prefer something with teeth
