I once wrote a piece for another web site which I titled The Sub Whisperer, based loosely on the ideas shown in the book The Horse Whisperer. It was mostly tongue
in cheek (me? tongue-in-cheek? there is a shocker) but there are aspects to that sort of training (coaxing, using the natural characteristics of that which one is trying to make submissive to Oneself, doing nothing mean-spirited or cruel in one's training, etc) that make a lot of sense to me.

In the movie "Dances With Wolves," Kevin Costner's character has a horse. This horse is submissive to him, cares for him as best a horse can do, etc. More importantly, there are a few times the horse is stolen by Native Americans and it breaks loose and returns to where KC's character lives.

Apply this to a submissive. I want her to have power and grace and majesty. Somebody with those qualities, submissive to me, is what really speaks to my soul.

I certainly value any skills that a slave brings to the relationship... but I see it as my job to teach her how I want things done. So, the skills are irrelevant. (Sure it's nice to have a girl that can dechrome a trailer hitch...but I like training a slave. I'm okay with "some assembly required".)

I am more interested in someone who brings strength to the table. I am more interested in those "power slaves" that are strong, willful, independant, capable, and wouldn't take shit from anyone. Submission coming from a power slave...damn...that feels goooooood. I don't need a doormat. I have no desire to hear "Yes Sir" to everything I say...(Although I rarely admit this...) I can teach a parrot to say that. I want someone who is able to control their own lives, but trust me and respect me enough to offer that control to me.

Anyway...need more coffee.

are you really sure about that?? if she can suck hard enough to remove chrome that has been molecularly/electrochemically bound onto a suface, then she will have no problem sucking hard enough to remove your penis from your body - which, I think, would tend to take the fun out of the whole exercise

It requires a great deal of empathy and situational precognition of sorts to think through every possible outcome and scenario far in advance to counter every thought, action, movement that they may make.

berlin Again it is not really like that. The intention is not to merely find a time killer or a "miss right now" as you put it. I am intended on finding My absolute perfect match. One that compliments me in every which way. One that fulfills every desire almost by birth. I seek out the one and only as well but have yet to find her. I believe that My deeds are to be a karmic adjustment of sorts and that when I have done enough good in the world to warrant it then I will be blessed with what I have desired to obtain since the begining. I spend much time with many of my submissives as well, it is not a one night kneel so to speak, I'm with them from anywhere from a few months to a year and a half and as I've also said previously they never leave My life. I stay in contact with almost all of them and even those who I do not know that I am here when they are in need of a Fathers love and understanding.

You keep looking at things from a lovers point of view but you have to see that I am not a lover. I am a creator, and as such every parent must one day send their children out into the world. It is never easy for either party but it is again a necessity for them to continue on their growth and evolution as their new person. I make them relive their entire life, every hardship every betrayal every fear and overcome each and when the fires have burned out their forgotten past they have achieved a new life with a new name and a new desire and the ability to achieve it. I don't think that they could ask for anything more nor could I give them anything more even if they so desired.

I have absolutely no idea where you're coming from, but as somone working to become a psychologist in RL, it doesn't sound healthy. I wish you the best of luck, but don't know if you'll meet your goal. It sounds unrealistic.

A casual, or not so casual observer is going to quickly come to the conclusion that you have some kind of God delusions. How long has it been since you just engaged a woman in simple conversation, without trying to impress upon her that you have the power to reshape women's souls? You might want to think about lightening up. Like, a lot. Lets go grab a beer, play a little volleyball on the beach, and remark on what nice asses the passing women have for a while. When you aren't molding their innermost being, women can, occasionally, be fun.

first of all whether you are a lover or not is irrelavent.. a creater??? oh god rolls eyes.

and as a parent...i raised 3 daughters and helped raise 9 grandkids. yes a parent sends their kids out into the world but our job isn't to create them but to GUIDE them to be who they are inside. NOT what we want them to be.

I've never been a parent. But that is the way I was raised. And my mother made sure she reminded my brother & I that we should be exactly who we want to be.

Also, on that perspective, I have no interest of being my sub’s mommy and the majority of subs that I have met aren’t looking for that from me. What a relief! I’m not cut out for parenting and I’ve realised this. I like those I enter into a kink dynamic with to be self-sufficient adults.

Status: offline 		hahaha...I have no qualms about people thinking whatever they'd like. I find it humorous when people within a minority group themselves look at me with the same eyes the vanilla world would look at them.

This is just who I am in this aspect of my life, there are far more pieces to my puzzle than just my relations with my submissives and in my statements that is all I have refered to. Don't be so quick to judge me as just another christ complex looking to move into Waco or scrawl an x onto my forehead. ;)

You'd be very suprised to sit back and see the diversity in my life. I don't think even more than a handful of people in my corporate life have come head to head with my other lives. Past or Present. But if you're going for beers and volleyball I'll swap mine for a Vodka and Coke and a night at the clubs.

I would just like to comment that I believe I do understand afmvdp's writings, and as a submissive, I have always felt that, yes, the heart and emotions ~ the love ~ are all important in D/s... as they are in any relationship... but so is the mind, the soul... the need inside... To me... my Master, the Person I eventualy serve AND submit to is also my God. He is my Rock, the One I would give completely over to... He pushes my limits and encourages my growth... He is the One who Knows my every thought even before I do... it isnt manipulation, it isnt a breaking of the spirit... but the taking down and building again... it isnt 'unhealthy'... its just part of the need and desire one has as an individual... it isnt for everyone... but for some... It is completion.

But thats just my feelings...

I don't want to sound like I'm tearing you down, because that wasn't the point of my post. To be honest, when reading your posts and profile (on c.com)-it does appear that you have a god complex. I'm not saying this as a sub or a domme or a psychologist, just as Berlin. There is no need to be defensive and/or condescending. This forum isn't about changing minds, it's about combining thoughts and ideas- finding where we stand in our respective roles (or lack thereof ). It's about learning and growing. There's the hippy in me.
I am simply stating that I cannot fathom your way of thinking. It just seems harsh in my mind, but then again I am a Southern Belle. I just don't really get your motivation. But that's kewl (as I've said before.) Well, enough with repeating myself.

I was just trying to give you a heads up that the way that you were writing was making you come off like a cross between a kid who hasn't outgrown his "dark lord of the manner" fantasies yet, and the second coming of Charles Manson. Some of the things that you were saying were getting eerily close the things Charlie said about how he took his girls in when nobody wanted them, and them being born again into a new family with him as their mother and father. At any rate, it's just a data point for you to ponder. Sometimes it's hard to express in writing what you're really about, and a little feedback from a disinterested party can help. Welcome to the boards.
