am living in a smaller community in Michigan, have not had much luck with finding an obediant sub, any thoughts?

Have you looked for lifestyle groups in some of the larger cities around you that may have Munches and Events going? Perhaps local message boards online for your area? It's always easier to meet people first, and let people get to know you and then move into trying to find a specific submissive I've found. IF you are looking for something r/t and local as opposed to online/phone for a while and then possibly traveling to meet at a later date.
