fencerpet19 -> Brazillian wax and more fun stuff... (6/12/2005 2:40:31 AM)

Okay, two questions: 1) well I'm officially signed up for a Brazillain wax next Wednesday and I'm getting a bit nervous because I've never gotten one before. I can take pain (to some extent)... but it's usually in a sexual setting and my Master is the one dishing it out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the experience easier or less painful/embarrassing for me?

2) I'm leaving a little patch in the front which my Master is going to shave into some cute little design the following Monday, and we got to thinking about coloring it. Does anyone have any experience using dye to add some flare down there? I've heard some pretty bad things about doing it the wrong way or having a bad reaction to the dye... any comments/tips/thoughts are welcome [:)]

Just breathe and follow the direction of your waxer. It hurts for an instant then it's over. You'll be fine.

Unless it's a dye you've used before, just as when you're dying the heair on your head, you should to a patch test to make sure yiou aren't overly sensitive to the chemicals in the dye. Keep in mind that unless you have very light hair, you may need to bleach first to get the effect your master is looking for.

good luck on this, fencerpet! i don't have experience with waxing there, but i really have been wondering about it. so far, all i wax is my lip and eyebrows. *lol* i am intrigued by it, but uncomfortable enough with my weight to not want to go there, yet. and i am with you on the pain... i hope it is not too much.

will you please be so kind as to post and let some of us know how it goes? and also, how long it lasts the first time? i use nair, and the stubble (to me) is tangible in only a couple of days.

once again, good luck!

Brazilian wax and pain management

hehe, yes, pleeeease let us know how it goes. Also, as a side note, I am willing to bet the potential pain associated with this wax and the type of pain your Master inflicts are two different things. If your Master gave you toothache, I dont suspect it would be anymore pleasant then if you got one from eating too many sweets. *grins* I'm sure you get my point. Good luck!!

haha I'll definitely let you all know how it goes [:D] I've tried waxing on my own before, but that's impossible. Just too odd an angle lol. Wish me luck!

I get fairly regular Brazillian all-off waxes. Here's my two cents.

It hurts, but not so awfully. It will be a little tender and red for the next day or so, remember to apply lotion frequently. Also rember if you get your wax done shortly before or durring your period it will hurt SO MUCH MORE. And not in a pleasant way. My first Brazillian wax was a cold sugar wax, and frankly I would never do that again! Hurst so much more, does a worse job. Now I have found a great place that does hot wax, and while the hot wax itself has a mildly sharp tingle when applied, I kind of like it. I've found that relaxing, closing my eyes, and breathing deeply all make it easier. And I think the results are worth it, but you'll have to see for yourself. Regrowth will be itchy, it's just like puberty all over again.

That reminds me, I need to schedule my next wax!

*UPDATE* okay so some of you all wanted to hear how the Brazillian wax went... well I just got back from the salon about an hour ago and yes it is a bit sensitive, but overall it was nowhere near as painful as I thought it would be. Most of the punishments I've received hurt far worse than a wax job (but then you do have to take into account the fact that my Master is the one causing the pain, not some random woman at a spa... so there is a bit of a difference). It was much more bearable thinking about how I got the wax for Him though. I'd say after the first few minutes you start to go numb to the pain and it doesn't hurt as much... I even got into a conversation with the woman about physics WHILE getting it done! Looking back on it it was quite amusing... something like:
"So the main goal of physics *rip* is to unite the theories of quantum mechanics *rip* and Einstein's theory of general relativity *rip* .... oh yes that looks nice... maybe a bit more on that side... both of which describe the observed univserse *rip* but don't work together in cases such as black holes *rip* or the theorized big bang singularity... oh yes that's perfect. How do you want me to hold it? Oh okay... so anyway..."

It was all quite casual lol, and I'm glad I got it done! I can't wait for next Monday when Sir goes and shaves the little patch I left into something cute! Have a good one!

having had mine done for years, i can tell you that a good rule of thumb is ask the waxer if she can do it in 30 mins, if she says no, then she's not experienced and your better off going elsewhere. Pain depends on the waxers skills.
If she's not afraid to touch you, so that she can hold the skin taught, to reduce pain that helps. In my experience, if they wear gloves, they dont like touching you, so your gonna suffer.
Never on or just before a period.
And for the wimps amoungst us, take two Ibuprofen an hour before the wax.
