4 years ago I met a girl; I started to spank her during our dating nights. She found it interesting and still she likes it. We felt in love and after 3 years we got married. But to answer the original poster, the reason that most women aren't turned on by most porn is that it isn't designed for them. I've talked this over with one or two producers of the stuff. Apparently the only Visa cards that are worthy of their attention are those belonging to het males. [:'(]

I recently bought a subscripton to bondage.com mostly to see the university articles and partly out of curiousity about the video/picture selections. I was appalled at how much of it was dedicated to barbie dolls with perfectly round breasts (the lesbian in me prefers the more natural look).

So perhaps you might want to do some research into porn that is more female friendly. There isn't much out there but there is some.

There are alot of sites which includes femdom pictures or contents, because there are a lot of men who enjoy femdom and they want to be slave. I mean most of visitors are men and most of women who like to be a mistress, do not watch porn websites. But still I am not sure about it!

I've seen those "femdom" sites and they aren't designed to appeal to women. They are there to cater to the men who like to see women in kinky costumes. I personally feel offended at the rather gross stereotypes that they convey about dominant women.

But, you're right, there are lots and they have a wide male audience because that is who they are pitched at.

I enjoy porn sites to some extent. Visual porn doesn't do a whole lot for me usually. But, I enjoy reading well thought out FemDom stories. Which, are sadly pretty hard to find.

Thank you Aakasha, LadyAngelika, and proudsub...there is also whippedass.com, but I think really geared towards males, as it is female on female action. I know that is real life too, as I have had female subs also, but this site seems geared towards the mens enjoyment. I have seen hogtied, and am off to check out th other sites. I agree with what most of the females say here . She feels bad because it is a male fantasy site you are looking at. Most females get depressed looking at model type females. I even read a research paper about females get depressed after 15 min of looking at there favorite magazine . And these are female magagzines so you can only imagine the feeling when its something to lure in males.
I know I prefer to look at more amateur photos. Also what you are looking at may not appeal to her if it is something she is not comfortable doing, I know I thought I could handle watching anything until I got a hold of a bdsm video and my hubby laughed at me when I was staring at the TV with my mouth open in shock. I like to watch porn, but my tastes runs toward m/f or light bandage and spanking types. And yes like the kind that have a fairly decent story line to it also. I am not into same sex videos or really hard core stuff like knife play or extreme whipping type of stuff. So perhaps just have to find sights that are more on the gentler side for the wife to veiw that are into her line of likes. Such sites on spanking are found if you type in spanking.com in the address bar, but there again have to search out the sites and find and save the ones that don't offend her so much.

I enjoy writings on BDSM, poetry, stories, prose and lyrical.
I enjoy paintings, pictures photographs and images.
I enjoy BDSM on film.

But it does depend on the content, director, writer, etc... just like any other book, image, prose etc...

I am a painter - I work on images of the human (and not so human) form. BDSM isn't all about the sex - its about the look on a face, the outreach of a hand or the clenching of a fist.

It doesn't make me feel bad - it doesn't make me feel guilty. If your submissive does, and you feel her communication with you is a cry for guidence, then it is the dominants responsibility (you) to aid her in her growth and the potential she has within her to understand her fears, concerns and see the beauty.

There are lists of good, and positive BDSM photographers, directors, tapes, films etc that she could consider exploring. If you need websites, please feel able to contact me and I can forward any assistance.

I enjoy sites that have erotic stories and pictures. I look for things that hold my own interests in the lifestyle. Since she enjoys spanking perhaps looking up spanking sites would be worth while. Sometimes starting where an interest is, brings out other interests. I also enjoy stories on literotica.com as well because I like bondage I enjoy bondage pictures. Especially for me the bondage art.. shibari and suspension have always been something that appeals to me. I agree that most sites are not geared towards women but to men.

You can't judge all women by 1 woman, or even 50 or 1,000. Women are as different as men, and not all men like BDSM or watching Porn. Not all men love sports and not everyone likes going to church either. Expand your horizons and realize that everyone is different for different reasons.

My suggestion is find out WHY she doesn't like the sites. If they "gross her out", then ask her what aspects gross her out. There are all sorts of sites for all sorts of people - of course they exist, there is a market. But finding the right one for you, and the right one for her (if she wants one) is the real task.

It's always possible that if you are always there with her when she looks at sites, she may feel insecure about seeing you get excited over other women (if she perceives it that way).

Of course, she just may not be as into bdsm as much as you are. I think if you will notice, there are many women that love the hard core stuff (hell, they are on the porn sites you are looking at). But everyone has their limits. Learning your wife's limits (and understanding them) can help bring you both to better understanding of each other, and once you completely understand her, you might be able to help her expand her horizons...but understanding her needs and desires is the first step. In knowledge there is compramise.
