I'd say no to the chloriform. Nothing wrong with wanting to be drugged but you are better off with a tranqulizer or something.

Ok, maybe I am being too simplisitic here, how about Nyquil? I always get really really tired and sleep like a log when I have had it. And then while they are asleep, move/restrain/etc them so that when they wake up they are "in position". Just my two cents...

Though I would never recommend to anyone to do so, i've have good luck with similar scenes using Rohypnol or Ketamine. Mind you that I am more trained than the average bear, but far above and beyond that I had them go to a doctor first off and get a full phsyical to ensure they were healthy and doing such would not be likely to cause undue risks. I also had them sign a waiver as unfortunately things do happen.

I am far more cautious these days (and better connected within the local medical community) so if I really wanted someone knock out, I'd call an anesthesiologist.
