I just love how knowledgable (sp?) you are about everything! My new master is making an appointment for me to get a Brazillen very soon (even though I am a model, I am just clipped very short). He is doing it more for the humiliation aspect I think, since being in front of anyone nude (model thing again) doesn't bother me. My question for you is this. I am not afraid of the pain, but I am required by my photographers (who are making the money off of me to a certain extent) to hit the tanning booth once a week so I have some color on my normally pale skin and don't look "blue" in the pics. I always burn a bit for a couple days before it goes to tan. If I have a choice in the matter, should I hit the booth before or after the waxing...I mean...it could be a real ouch either way, getting a waxing on sunburned sensitive skin, or sunburning the sensitive skin after waxing, as it removes a layer of skin, right?? *sigh....

The best person to ask would be whoever is waxing you. I do know that I got a serious burn on my legs the day after I got waxed,the skin is much more sensitive-even to shower or bath water. Also keep in mind you are much more sensitive for 5 days before & after your period. It's definitely painful if you get it done then.

BEFORE!!! Although if you burn, make sure to do it a few DAYS before so that the skin can heal first. You're not supposed to shower or expose to much sun for 2 days after a waxing and if you have very sensitive skin then take the path of caution. You are absolutely right bout the removing layers of skin.

Thanks much for the compliment, I find it's as much a blessing as a curse :)

I am having my first laser treatment on Monday, the salon I go to has a special deal going where you can get your underarms done for free when you get your pubes done. I was told it takes probably 3 or 4 treatments to get rid of all the hair.

I'm sick of shaving and having stubble appear a day later. I don't get ingrowns or rashes, but Master would love to feel me smooth down there! It will probably cost about $1000 all up but I figure it'll be worth it for the convenience alone.

I get my eyebrows waxed and the pain from that has been enough to put me off having a brazillian!

If you think an eyebrow waxing is painful, you might want to reconsider laser hair removal, especially in such a "delicate" area.

This tends to happen to me when they wipe the freshly waxed skin with oil instead of alcohol. Some people prefer the oil and they may be using it as a default if you don't request otherwise.

As for Brazilian, I have not done that yet, but have considered it.
Living in NYC, there are an abundance of places that do it and do it well. I am quite partial to the new place I am going as they always have the two loveliest Chinese women (Lilly and her assistant) working on me at the same time.
I tell ya, spreading your legs to have these two women work on you is a lovely reward after a long week!
Seriously though, they are very meticulous and obviously take pride in doing good work....and just all around good people.

For those that have never: I highly recommend mustering the courage to get waxed. It is not as bad as you think.

Well I've just had my first laser session and I was surprised, it didn't hurt much at all

A little heat and a little stinging, that's it. Having the next one in a month or so, hopefully it won't take too many sessions to rid myself of hair!

i've been waxed and loved it; nothing else compares (though i have no funds for lasering). i did not find it esp painful and i'm a baby about pain. i find my eyebrows hurt more; so for me that's not a good gauge. i have toe and foot hairs i'd love to get rid of permanently; i shave them off but i hate them.

Financially i am relegated to shaving, and find that the cheap 5 for $5 razors are the best; but they must only be used once, and only "down there"; subsequent use to shave my legs always results in nicks.

Because I constantly have dandruff and horrible scaleyness on my forhead in my eye brows and the area inbetween them that wasn't there before, and it's been a year now or more since. but it definatly was caused after the waxing

Tanning beds are not any safer than tanning by sun, I hope your photographer guys are not exposing you to any long term health problems by making you suntan in tanning beds so often.

Those tanning beds were thought to be all the rage and greater than sun sun tanning but they have their own set of risks too.

That is the worst thingt o do shaving makes them grow back in quicker darker and makes your area you shaved look stubbly, DO NOT shave hairs you want to be less noticable lol.

At the spa I go to to get waxed they recommend taking two advil half an hour before getting waxed. They also sell something called no scream cream that is supposed to work very well though I have never used it.

You can get EMLA cream over the counter at most pharmacies. It's a topical anaesthetic and will numb the area. I've known people who've used it just before a clit hood piercing and reported no pain at all.

doesnt hurt .... hurts less than any spanking i ever got from Daddy..... and im sensitive to any kind of pain

The hair It takes long to grow back... after you wax for a while your body builts tolerance and less hair grow.. and you doesnt feel as painful anymore....

but again im Brazilian lol and since puberty i was getting waxed... in Brazil you find waxing places in every few blocks LOL... usually anywhere they do nails and hair they do waxing.. and its cheap..

here in the US its much more expensive and hard to find... and the wax it self is a little different unless you get it inported from there...

I received a wax job once and only once. It was for a bet what can I say. I did legs and brazil at the same time for me it was more, OMG THE PAIN!! I also have very, very dry sensitive and dry skin so that might have been the reason but still it hurt like an SOB I will never wax again. *Hugs razor and cream*
