Hubby has asked me to quit posting on CM and to remove my profile, so i reluctantly will obey. I've made a lot of friends here and have really enjoyed my 2 years participating in the threads. I want to thank everyone who has contributed to the boards as i have learned a great deal from all of you. I may drop by occassionally as a "guest" and read some threads. I hope everyone continues to enjoy their journey in this wonderful lifestyle. This will be my final post.

Personally I would leave My wife before I left My friends. Wives and husbands, boyfriends and girlfriends come and go. They are a dime a dozen. True friends, though, are forever. I would never ask My pet to leave her friends. I'm not that insecure or on that much of an ego trip.

Regardless, I do wish you all the best in all your future endeavors. Be well.

Proudsub, I will miss you. Your presence is part of what gives the message boards the quality they have. It won't be the same without you. I will look forward to an occasional guest post from you.

May I ask what reasons, if any, he gave? I'm honestly curious here.

We'll miss you, proudsub! I think EmeraldSlave2's already started to take over as thread yanker, but you're still the original and it's sad to hear about this.

Wow. I think I'm lucky that my partner is my best friend in the entire world. I think it would suck a whole lot to be with someone, as a life partner, who -isn't- your best friend. For me, spending my life with someone, means that person is the person I'd rather be with than -anyone- else.

The Owner isn't my friend, nor my best friend, but we aren't monogamous and he isn't my only life partner :)

I stand partially corrected :).

But coming from the perspective of "basically monogamous and looking for a single life partner to serve and adore" I stand by what I said.

I'm sorry to hear this proudsub and like many will miss your
adage to the boards.
Be Well and I hope there is a time again where it won't be an
issue for you to come back and join us again.

Take care and I will think of you everytime I go to "Hogtied" .

Another day...Another place proudsub, may your journey continue. Go in peace with what has been asked, but go knowing you made a difference in the lives of everyone here, and I thank you.

i did not know what to make of SirKenin's post; but perversangelic spoke of the sort of relationship i one day hope to have.

I don't know if she can read this now (if she's gone), but proudsub was one of the first people to welcome me to collarme. I too will miss her in all of the capacies she filled here, as experience sharer, advice giver, and thread yanker.

My pet is My best friend. There is no question of that. But I am equally serious about My friends. If having her as My best friend means that I ditch all others, then she has to go.
