I just got a message from a slave telling me how naive i was to be looking for a serious long term master slave relationship about love. Is that not possible? She said most doms want more than one slave or they get bored, and that longterm to a dom means a year or two. This disturbs me considerably. Please write, and elucidate this quandry for me. As of now, i am very disturbed, and depressed. Aren't there any doms who want to love their slaves? Please help!

Sounds to me like this was a very bitter slave, or more likely, a HNG buttering you up for the kill.

The Doms I have experience with tend to be looking more for a monogomous, long-term relationship than I even am. There are obviously those out there where sex is just a matter of mutual Masterbation--of course, this can be true in any lifestyle. And, I've come across a few who only put forth an effort for a short-term, personal gain. These ones are self-serving--and arrogant rather than confident. They usually have something to prove and do not deserve the creatures they keep. That said, there are a lot of decent, caring Doms out there who are in it for the sub's pleasure and adoration as much as their own. Subs are wonderful, but being sub needn't imply subservience to just anyone, I certainly maintain my right to be picky.
