what i would like to ask is a bout a new slave . i have a friend that has a new slave and she said she have nevr did any thing like this be for and yet she love,s to be whip hard and in joys the pain and has said she miss that feeling when not in play so what i like to know is can a slave that is new to this take hard whipping and the pain from it or would it be best to say she may be lieing

I am a bit confused.

You have a friend that has a new slave? And yet your friend has never done anything like this before? Or the slave has never done anything like this before?

As to whether someone who is new to this being able to handle large amounts of pain? Sure,why not. Some people can handle anything, it matters not how long they have been handling it.

I am still confused though.

i think that the slave is new to it....or then again i might just be confused.

as for the question, yes someone new can be able to take alot just starting out. If there are concerns with it being a lie just start slow and slowly build up to the harder levels...just in case.

Is she brusing easily or does it seem as if she can be hit again and again without any marking? Old, tough skin like mine is very difficult to mark as the blood vessels have been physically assualted for so long. Smack my ass with a 2 x 4 and there's nothing but a bit of reddness that goes away before I can blink. Those just out of the wrapper tend towards the pristine and mark quite easily and those bruises can, literally, last for weeks. It's not going to be 100% of a tell, but for the vast majority, it can at least point in the truthful direction. I would not automatically assume that she's lying. Masochists and pain lovers, even when brand spanking new, 'can' take a lot of physical punishment.

Some people love pain....we call them masochists.
It is possible that she has experienced it for the first time and has found a liking for it.
I'm not sure how a masochist is born.
Maybe someone can fill us in.

It is a question for me and something I've thought about and discussed with some. Can a person who does not identify as a maso been "grown" into that role. Can they learn to tolerate more pain?

I was a masochist long long before I was invovled in BDSM.

At the outset I could take more than my friends who had been invovled longer. Pain tollerance is personal, not always attached to time invovled in all this.

Hmm, just tolerate or enjoy?
I dont consider myself much of a masochist. I "enjoy" a low level of pain, but i can "tolerate" much more.
Could probably tolerate/enjoy more with the right person and the right frame of mind. Havent experienced it though so dont know for sure.

Well, if I was to take it as literal...then I would say that yes, a person can be BORN masochistic. Even at a young age, I always enjoyed pain. I used to go to the South side of Chicago just to see what kind of fights we could into because I liked the pain lol. ( of course, I had a nasty temper too, that might have had something to do with it lol )

Now, through the years, I have learned to like even more pain. My level of tolerance has gone up.

Have I ever reached a stage where I had to be taught to tolerate more? Probably, but I could not tell you the times. Everyone has a limit that they reach sooner or later, but I have always enjoyed being pushed past it, just to see if I could. So, I guess in a way...you can be 'taught' also.
