I am a submissive. This is who I am. But...<dramatic pause>...I have met a man who just seems to bring out the Domme in me, a side that I really didn't know I had. My question is this...are there some out there who are submissive with most, and dominant with a few? Or visa versa?

you don't interact the same way with the preacher that you do with the next door neighbor. Of course this is fairly common, what you said.

Exactly . . . . *many* have reminded me that I'm no sub, it all comes back to that tired ole line of "you may be Dom, but not my Dom" . . . Know you, know what feeds you, follow your heart.

There is just something about this one person....he and I have discussed the possibility of him submitting to me and we both share some of the same desires. I am just kinda nervous about my first forray into that side of things. I have to wonder how he would feel knowing that I am submitting to another. We have discussed it, and he says that he is okay with it, but then he says things...that lead me to belive not so much. Any tips in dealing with this?

If he is giving you mixed signals krazysubbiekat, I would recommend more discussion before trying anything.

Personally If I have been involved with a Domme I haven't normally looked for a sub and vice-versa. But on one occasion, I saw 2 women who new each other and were in fact friendly (they had even played Mistress/sub with each other in the past). They were quite willing to share my time between them. In the end it was I who couldn't handle the situation.

Shiat...enjoy Dominating his Arse and then go back to who you are most of the time.
There's nothing wrong with that, sometimes the light switch is on and your a light sleeper, other times the switch is off and your a hard sleeper, or sleep with a hard on...or something like that. Atleast I do!

I enjoy sometimes the feeling of being weaker physically and fulfilling his wishes, but only with my husband and it doesnt last long, in fact I switch in a moment and the more I have been submissive the more bitchy I become next minute.

But I enjoy those feelings and dont think they disagree with my usually dominant side. I consider them just to be part of one and unique me.

An old friend of mine once said that we all rank somewhere in the food chain. Each time I look at someone as a possible future sub, there very well might be someone looking at me from the point of view of my being their future sub.

Now, this doesn't mean all who I look at are necessarily submissive, nor does it mean I'll submit to those who would desire that of me.

While I don't think of myself as submissive, I can't rule out the fact that someone, someday, might have enough "Grrr" to make me melt.

I suspect in this case, your "Grr" is enough to make this person want to submit to you..
