ORIGINAL: trustingnow We (women) have the right to bare our breasts in Ontario, Canada. Although it is rarely seen, the courts affirmed our right to do so several years ago. And yes, pot IS easier to get here too!! blessings, heather I think that is the biggest problem with the paranoid conservatives on this issue. I can just imagine their view if this were to about... women running topless & the streets full of bouncing boobies!! It is about freedom of choice & an equal standing between genders. I have personally found it distracting to have a man go topless around me at times, yet it is perfectly legal for him to do so. I feel women should also have the freedom of choice. Along with making the choice women will also know that being topless in public can cause some people discomfort or distraction. At least it would be her choice. I don't see myself running half-naked if the laws were to change, but I am not happy that my gender alone dictates to me what I can & cannot do. I was a breast-feeding Mom. Though I never exposed myself, there were times when a crying hungry baby was first priority. I always covered myself with a blanket large enough to conceal my breast. I was actually approached more than once & was told I would have to remove myself. I politely answered,"I am aware of the non-smoking signs & the no skate boarding on the sidewalk sign out front, yet I somehow missed the sign that said this was non-breast feeding zone. Could you please show that one to me once I finish feeding my baby?" MstrssPassion
