This discussion came about as a result of someone asking how to get to the next level of Vanilla, curious, newbie etc. Which status stage [or status name] did you like the least and by all means post and tell us why.

vanilla : I like as a flavour and a scent sooo that kinda says that is ok
curious : I am a sticky beak that works
newbie : put me in a kitchen and my newbie status of cook to the burnt bits cant be beaten
kinky : the fact I like five inch heels and cant walk ... yep that is pretty kinky
Indecent : pjs on a sunday ....oooh that is what I am doing

Twisted : My hair is rather long, so on occasions it gets pretty twisted
Deviant : Well i deviate from the roads when I see excellent little fairs on the side
Perverted : nope not me ... I am not odd

I am doing excatly what is right for me

so I am probable with sfgrrl... doesnt really matter... mind you some friends will be really worried if I get to the newbie stage and threaten to make cooking my skill. I am renowed for burning boiled eggs. Now that is something that really stinks

Uhmm....i thought about it for a moment and i decided that i think they are rather cute little things in the box and that's about it. Thank you Collarme for adding them...they give me hours of pleasure watching others achieve some form of status. *chucklez*

None of the names/statuses bother me, but I have to say that I"m seriously considering creating a new message board account to post from so that I don't have one of those idiotic pink balloons associated with my name a few posts from now. Seriously, that "paddle" looks nothing like a paddle and makes me think of a balloon coated in pepto bismal.

If i can find a way to somehow associate the names, or to tie two posting accounts to the same profile on the other side of collarme, I'll be creating a new account for the message boards ASAP. Otherwise, I'm going to stop posting for awhile until I figure it out.

I REALLY do not want that thing by my name.

I am about like the rest of you. None of them really bothered me. Actually it took me a minute to understand what they were and how they worked. Although I am really enjoying the handcuffs [because I really like handcuffs in realtime] and the names associated with them I am in no hurry to get to the paddle. I think the paddles are ugly so, handcuffs it is. {lol}

I am however looking forward to getting to the point where the Mods give me a custom made name. That should be interesting. LOL

::laughing:: I know how you feel Sherri. Hell, I don't like *real* paddles and these things are just YUCK.

I go with the none of the names bother me, but I wish they did the paddle for one of the things that changed after a hundred posts or something and used the handcuffs for the ones that lasted for a two thousand or what ever it is the paddles are going to last for...

I would have to join in with the others. The names don't bother me because half the time I over look them. BUT . . . the icons are a little harder to ignore. And the paddle has to be my least favorite. It reminds me of a deflated balloon.

I don't understand why the cuffs aren't used exclusively? Perhaps the paddle was used to detract those that would post obsessively? Whatever the case, a good graphics artist might be of some help. Didn't Miz Suz make a paddle icon at one time?

You know, it is funny to me. Although the question did ask about the name the conversation is intriguing. I am finding that most are saying that the name is not a problem but it doesn't seem like anyone likes the "Paddle". Hmmm interesting.

I wouldn't want to just keep the handcuffs for everything because I do like the changing of symbols but I would not be opposed to having something other than the paddle. Maybe a flogger or whip, rope or something.

I started as indecent when the new system was introduced, then was quickly given my thread jerker name so i never went through the ranks, so i didn't vote.

But i am wondering what comes after 4 paddles.

I like paddles. I remember discovering that fact, during rainy-day PE class back in grade school in oklahoma, waiting for my turn at the ping-pong table. It's just stand there, smacking that thing against my naked thigh, feeling the sandpapery grit they put on those things to give the ball something to grab on to.

I got a very strange look from my gym teacher that day.

HEY! I'm now officially fourth level!

...er... I mean... perverted. yeah, that's it...
