Just 3 weeks ago New Orleans was hit by a catagory 5 hurricane. Now that a some what 90% of the refuges are in Houston, another catagory 5 is headed for the the Houston area. Do you think there's an omen out for someone? Should we try to find this Jonah of today and toss him overboard? With such a coincidence as this, perhaps someone or maybe all the cajuns are cursed. Thoughts anyone?

I don't particularly believe in coincidence, there are too many odd occurences to dismiss. However, I don't believe that anyone in New Orleans provoked someone/thing and brought this catastrophe on their town either. I believe that things happen for a reason, but I wouldn't be able to pass judgement on what that reason could possibly be.

I’m reminder of a situation I read about some years ago where in Iceland apparently they have two State Religions ~ One Christian and the other Pagan. It seems that the Government had approved a large sum of money so the Christian community could rebuild their leading Cathedral. It also seems that the Pagan High Priest attended a meeting with the Prime Minister and his Finance Minister, both whom refused an equal allocation of funds to remodify the main Temple. It was reported that in anger the High Priest raised his fist to the sky and called on Thor for retribution. Lightening strikes occurred almost immediately and blacked out the capital city. Ergo the Government immediately approved the requested funds.

Some of my sources I have found most believable with one of them being one of the Pagan Leaders. Still lets just say, strange things happen and it doesn’t always pay to annoy some things especially when you don’t have a good understanding of them… A bit like turning final year high school physics students into a nuclear laboratory with no supervision.

I believe it has something to do with the water being 30 degrees which relates to global warming.

Voodoo has as much to do with it as catholics or christians or jews or muslims.

Isn't there other threads about this already? Why bring more hate into the equasion? Is it fun to?

What should be asked is - maybe its the president thats causing Gods wrath with his hate speaches disguised as christian doctrine.

Hurricans happen.
These are hurricanes.
