Wonder how many will print out this article and keep it in their purse/wallet?

You have to love how this conclusion was arrived at with a sampling of only 320 people. It doesn't say if the study isolated male or female practitioners or at the receiving or giving end of the act. Although it would be a stretch to associate the receiving of oral sex with mouth cancer.

We've decided to continue to live dangerously and ignore the warning! We just hope that the government won't start requiring warning labels on our private parts!

I should read the link. But instead I will wonder out loud. Is this related to genital warts (HPV)? Because that has been linked with cervical cancer.

it is for hpv contracted during oral sex...that puts some people at a greater risk for mouth cancer apparently.

It's certainly not something that's conclusive, but an interesting theory nonetheless.

ya know, after giving this subject some thought, it donned on me something that i think that they overlooked in that study.

don't some people tend to smoke after sex? maybe that's where the cancer's really coming from.

well, yes, but stucking any foreign object (including fillings) can be hazardous to the health. I guess it is a question of degree and probability and the level of risk indulged in....this finding is hardly new.

Those are sure different statistics from what i've seen before, the ones I was readin the doctors office indicated more like 25%
