It seems like the cams are recorded loops, is this correct?
and do I have to leave my "collarme.com" open for my cam
to stay active?
any help here would be greatly appreciated.

The cams are a great disappointment to me. It looks like when you turn it off it continues to loop whatever was showing live earlier. I prefer the cam sites where you can chat with someone live while you watch them.

Me too proudsub. These cams are a disappointment. loopdy loop! at least a couple of cam users have changed the loop every now and then.

I have to agree. If you are going to have a webcam on, at least 1)make the show real, 2) make it at least interesting, or 3) be able to be communicated with. All the other "watch me" cam sites do it. Perhaps it is just not installed yet? However, the question inquring doms want to know is: is the webcams being fed in thru the collarme, IM program or something else? I might want to get on and cam w/a sub some eternity from now..but dont know where the feed line is. Anybody care to enlighten me?

I just had a panic attack. Was my dancing nude for M'Lady posted here?

I agree that most cams here are continuous loops, but hey, would ya'all REALLY like to see someone who all they have to do is sit in front of a webcam all day/night? Some do change the loops, but they're still real people on real cam.

Now, if any of you kind souls would like to share where you go for free, uncensored, live, amature cams, like this place is..........please feel free to do so. Thanks in advance!

I know the Ma`am that I'm chatting with has a web cam and I see Her totally Perfect~ She bought it at best buy~

It's live the first time you see it, but when seeing the same live feed the second time... you are correct, it's Memorex. Members may create one-three minute videos (mpg, avi, etc), and upload them to CM, and they are viewable realtime playback, but don't loop... you do that by reselecting it to play it again.

There appear to be no instructions on type/format, etc anywhere I've seen, so that may explain the ones you see with a variety of technical problems (I'd think people would view their little video before uploading it somewhere?... curiosity? quality control? retro-warm fuzzy?).

Perhaps the CM server samples live feeds and stores clips, and it's all accomplished server-side? This concept is commonly used in the adult entertainmant industry, for a website to serve a clip(s) of a previous live show until the performer returns "Active, or Live". Whether clip(s) here were made at the cam source, or on the server itself, I'm not sure, as either method is feasable.

Suggestion: Seperate the Active Cams list by gender... pahleez!

Of course one thing leads to another, and another, and yet another, etc. Then the HNG's will want the gender specific lists further broken down into Dominant/sub, etc... BUT at least seperating the Active Cams list by gender should help to prevent heart attacks!

The site i used to go to a lot and where i met my first r/l Dom is www.jmeeting.com. There are chat rooms by category so you can chat with like minded people, many of whom are on cam, but not all. You can also cam privately using a password you only give to those that you want to be able to see you. Another advantage over some other sites is that you can watch several cams at the same time. That site is free.

Another site is www.anywebcam.com, which i think has a free trial period, then charges. I quit that one when they started charging.
