I appreciated the post on travel as I am a frequent international traveller and occassionally the heart has been flutterring.....

so...can anyone recommend an online site that has really high quality merchandise. www.westwardbound.com is extremely good and is based in plymouth, England.

Where else can I look for those "less widely available' items.

They carry a lot of unusual gear, in a lot of different colors & styles.

I would have thought some of the online stores in the USA would be a veritable reasure trove.

It depends on what kind of gear you are looking for. Can you be more specific?

Offhand, a couple vendors I particularly like: Happy Tails (www.flogger.com), London Tanners (www.thelondontanners.com), Kitten's Toy Room (www.kittenstoyroom.com), The Toy Bag (www.toybag.com), and Hanson Paddles (www.hansonpaddle.com).

I can probably recommend a few other good sites if I know more of what you are looking for.

Also, keep your eyes open for a local fetish fleamarket. For example, Boston Fetish Flea is held twice a year, and attracts a lot of vendors to shop from. The advantage of going to large gatherings is not only can you do some shopping there, but you can get a good idea of who in general makes good merchandise that you can buy from off the web throughout the year.
