A dried up bag of carrots--go figure! Do you ever wish you could just take a big broom and gather everything up without sorting through it and dump it all in the garbage?

Your question made me smile... when i was a little girl, my mother found an entire piece of pizza under one of our sofa cushions.

No kids of my own. Yet having custody of some through out the year's. At one point in time it was so bad(the odor) coming out of the boy's room. I had them rip it apart piece by piece to find out where the stench was coming from.
Come to find out it was Justin's shoes. Foot odor. It was slowly killing off half of us in the house.

Not my kid, but a roommate. Top shelf of the closet. Bowl of cereal, spoon still in, left until the milk had become semi-coagulate cheese and the actual cereal had turned green and furry. I almost don't have a sense of smell and I found it by folowing the peculiar aroma.

My husband's brother used to bring his tribe and visit us at Easter. We moved in the summer after they had been here in the spring. When the movers thumped down the sofa sleeper, a piece of Easter candy fell out. And don't get me started on the evils of Easter grass!

Gosh I dont feel so bad now with the stuff i find in my kids rooms lol

When they were babies and toddlers I used to be really embarrased when other kids came to play and petrified pieces of fruit or other food substances turned up from the bottom of the toy barrel - but Ive gotten over that now thank goodness.

Ok wasnt actually in my home but at work I left a half full cup of tea , with milk, sitting on top of my work cupboard. Basically out of sight out of mind. I was on holidays for three weeks, umm sydney had a very minor earth tremour result of a earthquake in newcastle guess what fell.
I had some rather unimpressed staff

This brings to mind a funny story from my workplace... it was my first holiday there, and everyone at the luncheon we had kept joking about "not forgetting the ham". All day, "don't forget the ham". Finally, asked, "What, you forgot to serve the ham last year?" Nope. They *wish* that was what had happened. They served the ham, put it back in the oven to keep it warm, and forgot about it. This was November, around April they started smelling something awful.

Apparently the oven still smells like Lysol....

When I was cleaning our condo in HA i found a porn video that a renter had obviously hidden and forgotten about LOL. Loved it!! It was really nasty. The problem was i was alone for a week there and no toys. I had to make a quick trip to the adult store.

How about twelve empty potato chip bags under the mattress. I mean really, how lazy can you be, the garbage is on the other side of the room, it can't be that hard to get out of bed.
