Is who spanks whom a good way to find which of the "switch" you fall on?

No, because by definition a switch can be alternatively the spanker or the spankee depending upon the mood. Unless a switch does both, they are either a sub or dom.

YES, Spanker = Top Spankee = bottom but only for that session.

Like dommemagn indicated, an hour later you may reverse roles and go from Top to bottom, which is why one would be labeled a switch. The are shizophrenic in a fun way, Top today - bottom tomorrow?

Or vice versa ...... confused? Then you're a switch!

Not really. Only you can figure out which side of being a switch you predominantly are. Take some time, dwell on your likes/dislikes, fantasies, etc.etc That should give you a good idea of what side you like most of all.

It really depends on what the Spanking is for.

After all, if both deliver it as punishment, then yes it might as well be a swich couple. If the spanking is for pleasure, then you are looking at more of a D/s relationship. Being sadist or massochist has nothing to do with being a switch. It's the switching off of the D/s role of discipline that makes a couple a switch.
